Democrat Proposes Seizing Property from Protesters Headed Toward D.C.
As law enforcement monitors a truck convoy moving towards D.C., one congressman has a novel (and illegal) idea to halt their progress.
“Freedom Convoy” protests began in Canada when leagues of truckers, fed up with COVID mandates, occupied the area around the capital in Ottawa. The protests came to an end when Prime Minister Justin Trudeau controversially enacted emergency powers which allowed law enforcement to arrest protesters, freeze their bank accounts, and tow away their trucks.
Police in the DC area say they are aware of talks of truck convoys clogging up roads and shutting down the Beltway, but those are only rumors at this point. That didn’t stop Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) from sharing his solution to the potential protesters:

His comment is particularly unsavory given the totalitarian conditions under which Canadian protesters were ultimately subdued.
One of the so-called “threats” of protest comes from the owner of a towing company in Scranton, PA. Bob Bolus says he and a convoy of fellow truckers plan to shut down the Beltway later this week.
“We’re challenging the high prices of fuel,” he said.
Bolus said they are also protesting vaccine mandates, critical race theory and people in jail facing charges related to the Capitol insurrection. He said the convoy will start from Pennsylvania’s capitol in Harrisburg before coming to D.C.
Local news reports the convoy has departed and will reach D.C. at some point Wednesday afternoon. Bolus’ convoy is separate from the “People’s Convoy” which is set to depart Southern California at some point Wednesday and make its way to D.C. for Biden’s State of the Union address.

I think you are on the right track but your classification of the ‘Goons’ should actually be centered on the NWO elitists. They are using the socialist principles to destroy the rights given us as humans, by The Almighty One. Most countries have already been compromised and the end results are always the same; as are the results of democracy. Democracies are problematic as they will always degenerate into anarchy and/r dictatorships. I would think Gallego would have more important things to do like fixing the voter fraud or illegals flooding into this country through his state. Representative Gallego should be immediately removed from his position. He obviously has never been educated on The Constitution and the Amendments. His suggestion broaches the 1st; 4th; and 8th; Amendments. Such ignorance of our foundational laws has no place in our government.
Actually; that ignorance should not be allowed in any political office. Our 3 part government is supposed to hold check on each other.
The problem we have today is that most people have not been taught these principles in the modern educations system. One of the most important understandings which have been deliberately deleted from schooling is the fact that WE THE PEOPLE are the boss, the politicians serve at our pleasure. Mr. Gallego is effectively advocating the overthrow of our Constitutional system by the illegal use of force against the people. If he conspires with another person to put his mad idea into effect, that’s sedition. If he carries it out, that’s insurrection. See USC 18 §2384
By the way, readers who suggest violence against this clown should read the statute also. It’s more effective and appropriate to tar him politically as someone who advocates having the government commit armed robbery against peaceful protestors – he would have had the government take away the cars and trucks used by blacks to join Dr. Martin Luther King’s marches.
