Trump Takes Major Step Against Russia
Donald Trump is on the cusp of suspending the INF treaty with Russia, since Putin has not been complying with it. Thee Daily Caller reports:
The U.S. government will suspend the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty with the Russian government after years of disputes between the two, President Donald Trump announced Friday.
“Tomorrow, the United States will suspend its obligations under the INF Treaty and begin the process of withdrawing from the INF Treaty, which will be completed in six months unless Russia comes back into compliance by destroying all of its violating missiles, launchers, and associated equipment,” Trump said in a Friday morning statement.
AdvertisementThe U.S. maintains that Russia has developed a strategic intermediate range missile deployed in Europe that violates the treaty and have insisted its government destroy it.
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo outlined the suspension of the treaty Friday morning at the State Department telling reporters, “For years, Russia has violated terms of the INF Treaty without remorse.”
Staying in this one sided treaty was no longer in America’s best interest, and President Trump is delivering on his America First agenda.

The Russians have never kept any treaty for so much a 10 minutes. But in the past all the democrats and all the RINOs thought it was smart to pretend they didn’t know about this, thinking that appeasement would eventually work in our favor. Apparently, Chamberlain has a lot of relatives.

Zee, China’s interests are not to “physically” invade the US with their troops and they know any such effort will result in a nuclear war. But China is in a position to “own” much of the US by property purchases. A “message” sent to Russia has an equivalent affect against our other adversaries. It is “telling” them that WE will stand up to all of our adversaries.

Does any one remember 1962, when Russia was about to install medium range missiles into Cuba, aimed at USA? President Kennedy ordered blockade of Cuba, with overflights of our aircraft. Russian Missile Technicians and Engineers flew into Goose Bay, Labrador, landing on the Canadian side of our base. I was in military 1961-63, at Goose Bay, Chief of Mockup (Electronics testing shop and repair), to support maintenance of F102A Interceptors. 4 aircraft retained at Goose, 2 in alert barn, armed and fueled, for attack of any Russian Bombers, with 2 backups. Remainder of our fleet was at Homestead AFB, Fla. Again if bombers flew over to attack Canada, USA, or our military, while ships maintained patrol around Cuba, to prevent missiles or support by sea. Those were medium range missiles, and the Russians removed them, returning to Russia. But President Kennedy in agreement, pulled our medium range missile out of Turkey, Europe, from neighbors of Russia. That was beginning of medium range agreements, between Russia and USA. ——-Anyone see the circle that administrations have gone through, and now we are completing the circle. Prior administrations tried buying Russia to stay in agreement. But we have new administration, and leader in Russia. Donald Trump is doing what should have been done, long ago. And I have lived long enough to see both ends, when it comes together. We have a President, who speaks, and is not understood by EXPERTS OF THOSE FAILING IN PAST, but I am so very proud of who I voted for, in 2016. And I have not been disappointed.
