Senator Warren’s DNA test has some shocking results that ended up digging a deeper hole for her. F0x News reports:
Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s heavily promoted DNA test showing she likely has some Native-American ancestry ended up handing more fodder to Republican critics, who pointed out the test results indicate she could actually have less Native-American heritage than the average European American.
Warren, D-Mass., took the rare step Monday of sharing DNA test results examining her long-challenged Native-American bloodline. According to the analysis, as first reported by The Boston Globe, “the vast majority” of Warren’s family tree is European and there is “strong evidence” she has Native-American ancestry “in the range of 6-10 generations ago.”
As reported by the Globe, this means she could be between 1/64 and 1/1,024 Native American (though the newspaper initially published an erroneous figure and had to correct it).
Republicans countered, though, that having such a trace amount of Native-American heritage should not give Warren “the right to claim minority status” — as she was accused of doing to advance her career at Harvard years ago.
How is 1/1,024 Native American even remotely qualify her as being a minority?

So much a sensation over her claim of Cherokee heritage! 1/64th and less , infinitely less, that her claim was satisfactory enough to avail herself of entry to Harvard, which obviously knew little to nothing on matters of native Americans. What Harvard did know was “political correctness” which was enough to give Warren a free ride at Harvard. We all paid that tuition. But, as far as her being recognized as an official member of the Cherokee nation, one must qualify by having a minimum of 1/16 Cherokee blood, which can never happen with Warren no matter her vaunted cheek-bones. So-o-o, she can claim Cherokee blood line all she wants, she can even hallucinate about it, but her blood type is so far off that all she has done is disqualify herself as an official Cherokee. Her insistence does make it appear that she may have attempted capitalizing on a fact that cannot qualify her as an official Cherokee person. Unfortunately, the poor lady must now be speechless, after all the speculating of an issue she invited. I’m sorry for her. It must have been so disappointing for her.

There has to be a cut off point when you are no longer considered that particular race. According to just about every documentary I have ever seen about prehistoric man the claim is that the first humans came out of Africa so does this mean that I can check the box that say Negro? Can I become a member of the NAACP? Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought she said that it was her Mother and Father or at least a Grandparent that married a Native American and they had to hid it because of something or other. If that is true then she should be at least 1/8 Native American not 1/1000. As always with the Democrats they will do or say anything to get what they want. I am no fan of Warren. BUT: People in this Nation need to be damned careful when talking about American Indian Heritage, when most know nothing of the History. Whether you are or are not a minority, whatever that is, is never determined by you as an individual nor by he group so placed. Democrats passed a Law in Virginia in 1924 declaring anyone with ONE DROP of Indian Blood was COLORED.
The shame that some here refer to falls just as much on those who decry her amount of Heritage as it does on her for taking any help as a result. The REAL History of the American Indian has never been and never will be taught due to the BIGOTRY displayed by those on both sides.

I used to be part Cherokee (Mom is from North Carolina) but I got cut when I was 6 years old and the one drop of Indian blood I had leaked out. Now I’m just a common honky. No affirmative action for me. As a working white male I have to do everything my the sweat of my brow and by whatever witts I can muster. No free rides for guys like me.
