Trump-Mueller Showdown Getting Closer
President Trump’s legal team is starting to draft answers to the written questions submitted by Robert Mueller’s office. This could prove to be a breakthrough in exonerating the President from any “collusion” with Russia in the 2016 election, but could also create a “perjury trap”. Fox News reports:
President Trump’s legal team has begun drafting answers to written questions from Special Counsel Robert Mueller and could submit them sometime after next week’s elections, Fox News has confirmed.
But Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani told Fox News that the draft answers are not yet complete. He said there isn’t enough time to review them with the president prior to the midterms, and some outstanding issues still need to be resolved — but was hopeful an agreement could be reached with the special counsel’s team.
The two sides have been in negotiations for months over the possibility of an in-person interview with the president, as well as Trump submitting written answers to questions. But on the former option, a source close to the legal team told Fox News that an in-person interview is “off the table” for now, adding it is “unlikely” in the near future.
Bloomberg first reported Monday that the legal team had prepared written responses to several dozen questions. The answers are related to questions about whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia during the 2016 race. Trump’s legal team has resisted answering questions about whether the president obstructed justice.

Yes, the deep state traitors, especially all those RINOs, are out to get our president and they should all be identified so the American public will not vote for them. Just today, RINO Paul Ryan showed where his heart lies when he said the president can not issue an Executive Order to clarify the 14th Amendment. We all know the 14th Amendment was written to only give slaves their USA citizenship. It was not meant to give anyone birthright citizenship if they were not here legally. The 14th Amendment did not apply to native Americans, illegal aliens, or diplomat’s children who were born here. Ted Kennedy and his bunch of pro Amnesty idiots changed the meaning of the 14th Amendment in the 1960’s to include illegal aliens. Democrats did this to get more votes for their corrupt Party.
So, no matter what Paul Ryan says, the president has the authority to issue an Executive Order to explain the meaning of the 14th Amendment. That is what EOs were meant to do originally; not change law, but explain it. If Ryan and all his pro Amnesty jerks want to contest it they will have to get one of their liberal judges to issue a cease and desist order. Then the issue will be decided by the Supreme Court. Thank goodness Ryan will be gone after January 2019. We need a good conservative to take his place as Speaker and I suggest Jim Jordan from Ohio.
