Baltimore Approaching Record Homicide Rate for 2019
Baltimore, which has been a target of President Trump’s criticism for poor leadership and corruption is close to breaking their record for homicide rate in 2019.

AdvertisementBaltimore has registered a grim new record in its crime statistics. Over the holiday weekend, the city suffered its 343rd homicide of the year, surpassing its previous high of 342 and setting a new record for killings per capita.
After seeing declining numbers, homicides began to increase dramatically in 2015 following the infamous case of Freddie Gray, which some blame for encouraging a more “hands off” approach by law enforcement.
“Baltimore police recorded the 343rd homicide of the year Saturday with the fatal shooting of a 32-year-old man in the Belair-Edison neighborhood,” the Baltimore Sun reports. “Shortly before 11 p.m., city officers found the man lying in the 4300 block of Dudley Ave. in an area south of Belair Road and two blocks from Herring Run Park. The man had been shot multiple times and later died in an area hospital.”

Baltimore is headed towards achieving the unenviable record of having its highest ever per-capita homicide rate.
With murders continuing right through the holiday season, the city has recorded 338 homicides as of Tuesday, the Associated Press reported.
The city has already surpassed 2018’s 309 murders and is approaching the 342 killings that occurred in both 2017 and 2015, AP noted.
Baltimore became the focus of a deeply partisan debate this summer after President Donald Trump said the city was “rodent-infested” and garbage-ridden. Trump’s assessment prompted outrage among some in the national media who suggested it was racist to criticize the city.
Baltimore continues to try and fix the problem but the results are not promising.

I often think of a comment made when all of this was happening. The person said “Watch, in about 20 minutes Trump will have them defending rats”. And he did. Lol.

Baltimore or any of these other scum infested cities will be fixed with demoSCUM non-leadership. Get rid of the demoSCUM trash and your cities will start to heal, keep them and your cities will continue to be nothing but sewers.
Part of the problem, which those responsible will dispute, is the failure to prosecute under federal law crimes involving firearms. Federal convictions mean mandatory sentencing while local courts have discretionary sentencing. Also, you will find this problem started increasing when the death penalty was eliminated in Maryland (A Democratic issue).
