Senator Graham Praises Trump’s Action on China
Senator Lindsay Graham is heaping praise on President Trump for finally doing something to combat China.
According to The Daily Wire:
Speaking on Fox News “Your World with Neil Cavuto” on Tuesday, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) praised President Trump for targeting China over its trade practices, saying, “God bless Donald Trump for finally doing something about China. Let me tell you about South Carolina. We’ve got his back here when it comes to fighting back against China.”
Graham explained that Trump was fighting back against China flooding the market with steel and aluminum:
I’m worried that we won’t stand behind the president. I’m trying to be honest with folks. Listen, the steel and aluminum tariffs have hurt BMW; they’ve hurt Boeing. But the reason we are doing this is because China, in one year, produced more steel than the entire world consumed, so Trump is pushing back against Chinese dumping of steel and aluminum to give us a chance to recreate our steel and aluminum industries.
The intellectual property theft: If you go to China, they require you to have a Chinese business owner to do business in China; they steal your intellectual property and try to put you out of business.
Graham responded to the question about the effects on the agriculture industry by saying that it is time to fight China and that although he feels bad that the agriculture community is disproportionately affected, he sees no other way.

Absolutely we have to fight China. They are infiltrating their people into every country, and we have way too many in USA, with no allegiance to USA. Chenese are working in our military, in our defense departments, and building islands in South China Seas, which they had promised not to weaponize. They are now landing fields for large bombers and they are trying to stifle shipping near them. As Steve Bannon stated recently, he knows China, and if we do not do something about those islands, we will be involved in nuclear war there within 5 yeas, with other countries also involved. Lot of shipping there that they are trying to control, as well as in Artic with the Russians. Reason Donald was talking about Greenland, and for good reason. Just as Alaska gives us defense from Russia and China, Greenland does now, but will be more active in future, with Space Command and USA Actions.
Their promises hold as much water as a sieve.
There was a time when I respected Senator Graham but in the past year he has reversed what he has always seemed to be an honest person who knew the difference between right and wrong. Now Graham is up Trump’s rear so tight acting like a parrot never his own opinion.
Now when the Tariffs have cost farmers their farms and other farmers to file for bankruptcy and manufacturers to lay off about 1 Million workers because they cannot compete using high priced American metals , then there is the stores who import and resell who are starting to feel the pinch.
Now China is a Autocratic Society where no one is allowed to complain about the Government, and the USA is a Democratic Republic where the people have the say in many ways, so who do you think can hold out the longest.

When, exactly, did the Democrat party become democratic…..hasn’t happened in my 70 years of voting in US elections. They are (at least act like) leftist, anti-American, home grown terrorists. You make it difficult to respect you. Just because someone recognizes the good being done by the president, does not mean they are a K.A. It happens what Trump is doing is something that should have been done a long time ago. It might hurt that people won’t be able to purchase cheap, substandard articles from China. for a while. Then, as our industry fills in the gaps, it will create more jobs here and create more wealth in our own country.
China cannot afford this stupid tariff war. Once they realize Trump is playing for keeps, they will break down and stop putting so many tariffs on products they purchase from us. They have made too much money at our expense. They have had no respect for America and Trump is the first president to stand up to them. You might think it will cost us, and in some ways it will, but it will cost the Chinese economy much more and they will soon come, hat in hand, to ask for forgiveness and to let them play.

For what it’s worth, my husband is a welder and said that Chinese steel is crap compared to American steel. Chinese steel starts out with a whole bunch of it cranked out in the same thickness, say 1/4″. When an order comes in for something thicker, they pour another layer of hot metal on top of the thinner layer. It is supposed to fuse to the already-hardened layer, but it doesn’t always adhere evenly or completely, leaving tiny air gaps in it. This wreaks havoc when the hot torch hits an air pocket. It just doesn’t weld properly, and makes for a weakened structure. American-made steel, on the other hand, is manufactured in various thicknesses from the beginning, say 1/4″, 3/8″, 1/2″, etc. It is solid through and through. High quality!! My husband is 100% in favor of RESTORING production of AMERICAN STEEL.
I agree Chinese metals are junk, I have been away from industrial work since 2005, but it was oblivious long before then. You can’t buy decent hardware in the big box stores or
other suppliers. The bolts have air cavities and large amounts of impurities in them. That is dangerous for all Americans.
ROBERT, Do you have any education? Besides elementary school? Trump now has the lowest unemployment rate in 50 years. Auto makers are staying here rather than moving to Mexico. We have the keystone pipeline now under construction after 5 environmental studies under Obama and Bush jr. Interest rates are at an all time low. We should all get down on our knees and thank the Good Lord for a president and leader like Donald Trump. He truly is God’s gift to America. Everyone should get behind him 1000%. This is one president and businessman who truly loves America and will do anything to KAG. He will always have the best interest of our country and it’s people at heart. When Obama was president the country was on its way to destruction, then along came President Trump and when he picked up the reigns everything started to change for the better. While I think the President’s actions against China are well warranted , I think the Demon Rats think that a long , drawn-out trade war will throw us into a recession , and that is why they are gung ho for it . Were I the Pres. , I would push McConnell and the Repub. Senate to pass the El Chapo Act ASAP upon their return in September , and also push for a vote to make the tax cuts permanent for individuals , and , finally , push for Repub. fixes to the healthcare system . Healthcare is a ” MESS ” , and we can ill afford to just sit back an look complacent about it

I totally agree! President Trump has done more than any President to protect the Unborn! He doesn’t stop there, he is leading in Foreign Policy and he cares about the saftey of OUR Citizens.
WE need protection from being overwhelmed by immigrants, from illnesses, drugs and violence . I believe in allowing responsible immigrants who want to be citizens and are willing to learn our language and keep our rules to have a chance. It usually takes 5-7 yrs to complete the process.
