Trump Names New Defense Secretary
President Trump has appointed a new interim Secretary of Defense, effective January 1st. The Daily Caller reports:
President Trump announced Sunday that Secretary of Defense James Mattis will leave office on Jan. 1, two months earlier than expected.
Trump is appointing Mattis’ deputy, Patrick M. Shanahan, as acting defense secretary until a permanent replacement is found, he announced on Twitter.
AdvertisementMattis tendered his resignation on Thursday after Trump decided to pull troops out of Syria. In a letter to Trump, Mattis subtly criticized Trump over the decision, as well as his treatment of U.S. allies.
“My views on treating allies with respect and also being clear-eyed about both malign actors and strategic competitors are strongly held and informed by over four decades of immersion in these issues,” Mattis wrote.
Although Mattis offered to stay until the end of February, President Trump is moving ahead and giving all authority to Deputy Secretary Shanahan, probably in a way to move past the disagreement.

Next time you get into a situation of an emergency of some type and use Gods’ name, and say Jesus Christ or G.D. this or that etc, remember that the Name you swear by is the NAME which is above everyname, and YOU swear by GOD, the so-called fantasy you claim! You “SEE” I was a Catholic, and by and large, speaking from experience, Catholics have NO idea who GOD/Jesus Christ is; They are taught that “Tradition” and Mary the mother of GOD (GOD had NO mother) is elevated above Jesus Christ and she is a co equal mediator w/Jesus! I was told I could sin all week, IMPLIED< and go to confession on Sat. and all would be ok! Then a man told me about Jesus Christ and told me I was LOST and would go to Hell w/o Salvation Thru/by Jesus Christ! I said, "I'M OK" but, I knew I was NOT! LONG story short, I came to the KNOWLEDGE, that IT mattered NOT what I think or thought, BUT what HE SAID! I JUST ASK YOU THIS: get a King James Bible and PROVE there is NO GOD, PROVE you are right/wrong, DISCOVER "WHY IT IS YOU THINK THE WAY YOU THINK, then come to a conclusion to satisfy a NEED in you! IF this thing about GOD/Jesus Christ is a Fantasy, then all History and all archeology and all science and all Laws and all that are wrong! Why even Evolution has to be right if there is no GOD, because that means that all this universe, BY accident and by a pin point compression that exploded in a Big Bang suddenly and without reason or ryhme, just decided to stop and make all our planets and universe for no reason! As much as I liked Gen Mattis, if he is not behind the President, it’s time to go. I believe a replacement for Gen Mattis, someone who stands behind OUR GREAT PRESIDENT will be a tremendous asset to this administration & to us. For all the naysayers out there, the same naysayers who were against Gen Mattis when he was appointed, zip it already. You flip flop with the wind and you must not realize how ridiculous you look & sound. We don’t care what you feel the need to say & do, you have lost all credibility and have proven you can not be trusted with the power you desperately crave.

Kim, I am with you in this matter, but for this reason. All you military members/Marines will agree. As a military member, I was told to do a Job, complete my assignment, mission and I was NOT told to like or dislike the same, and order is an order, and that is what I did! This Marine,was given an order and he quit, he gave up his post in a great time of need! That is NOT “SEMPER FI” and that bothers me! As a work center supv or leading Chief, I never asked my people do you like this order and will you carry it out if you don’t! There are 11 General orders and they will suffice to say, to carry out all orders, standards and directives w/out question! Col Mattis, this troubled me sir! The other thing is this: according to Daniel 4:32b GOD installs men in position of Govt and rule as HE WILLS; and as I see this God has decided to do what ever it is for whatever His purpose is to do whatsoever HE desires! Maybe Colonel Mattis should be aware that there is a GOD in Heaven who is moving men and nations and If the Col is a Part of this then, he should have been submissive to GODs’ will, and NOT his own!
