While I agree with what President Trump is trying to accomplish I am concerns about our National Debt. Raising taxes at this time would be detrimental to the Republican Party but also the entire Country. How about taking money out of the Social Programs being proposed.

Personally and professionally I agree, take funds from either duplicative social programs or those programs that “take” or as often noted “steal” from much needed infrastructure ventures and instead only social programs vested in “PROVING” their worth should remain funded and even encouraged “IF” they are truly showing their worth through checks and balances. Actually only social programs that can show public / private partnership successes should be utilized and monitored for further expansion successes throughout states with proven positive records. Those programs that are working should not only remain, but also be expanded onto other states on as needed basis and not just because. Everything has a shelf life and those that cannot continue to show their worth, should be removed or possibly incorporated into others with likeness and commonalities. The deficit is not the problem it is the spending of money on worthless programs and pet projects for those with their own agenda. Personally, if any congressional leader cannot prove the worth of any program (and I mean “prove” it) then the program or service should never be funded or even considered. Once President Trump’s overall infrastructure plan is in place, we will see such progress and success that the USA has never seen the likes of before and at which time the budget woes will become a distant memory. In fact all government programs should only be made up of private and public partnerships! After all are we not the masters of our own destiny (as they say) and the government is not there to provide for us. We are not the servants of any master, PERIOD!

President Trump has saved the government BILLIONS of dollars in other areas of spending which should surely offset increasing the National Debt! Welfare recipients and food stamp allotments are way down and so are unemployment benefits all because people are working again. They are paying taxes too. You may think this doesn’t add up but it does. I wouldn’t worry on debt now. Under Obama it rose the highest ever recorded during his term!

I feel that if Pres. Trump continues on this path and our economy keeps growing he will be able to start bringing down our debt in his next term. Although I would like to hear him talk about bringing down our debt with some of the money he is saving in different areas in his 1st term! Otherwise I think our President Donald Trump is doing a great job!

From day one I have had faith in President Trump. He owed no allegiance to anyone in Congress which is one reason he has accomplished so much of his agenda. I pray he serves for another term because more great things will be happening for our country and he WILL fix the ridiculous debt that has been ignored by past presidents. He is a fixer of problems and he is seriously making a dent in them. God bless you President Trump!
