President Trump has fired back at Paul Ryan for his criticism of his plan to change birthright citizenship in America by executive order. The Washington Examiner reports:
President Trump criticized House Speaker Paul Ryan on Wednesday after Ryan broke with the president on his plan to end birthright citizenship for children born in the U.S. to illegal immigrants, and said Ryan should be more worried about holding the House in next week’s midterm elections.
“Paul Ryan should be focusing on holding the Majority rather than giving his opinions on Birthright Citizenship, something he knows nothing about! Our new Republican Majority will work on this, Closing the Immigration Loopholes and Securing our Border!” Trump tweeted.

The president told Axios in an interview published Tuesday that an executive order was in the works that would end the 14th Amendment’s guarantee of automatic citizenship to children born on U.S. soil to noncitizen parents.
Whether this will affect the upcoming midterms remains to be seen.

The 14thA was NOT ever meant to give the world U.S. Citizenship. It was meant to provide for the smooth passing ….of the Parent’s U.S. Citizenship(s) …to their children. Also, to guaranteeing U.S. Citizenship to Native American Indians & former Slaves ….based upon the reality that….ALL were born from multi-generations of U.S. Residency…with or without the direct design by their ancestors.
At present, the all too vague wording of the 14thA…is what has created the current problem: NON-Citizens by the thousands come here to visit….just long enough have babies….just for Citizenship ….and the life-long perks that U.S. Citizens are guaranteed in the Constitution.

I agree, the big question is why has the House not taken action to make Paul Ryan leave the House Speaker’s position now because all he is there for is to ensure the Establishment gets its agenda passed and to stymie our president? When is our country going to do something about this obvious bias? There is no freedom of the press when you have 90% of them bias for the Democrat Party.
Ryan has been a total traitor to PRESIDENT Trump, his/our agenda and to us, in favor of the Koch Bros., Wall St., the Chamber of Commerce – all those who fund him well. He, like his cohort Romney, have been anti Trumpers since Donald J. Trump announced his run. Ryan should have left the SOH position as soon as he made his announcement not to run again. IMO, the only reason he held onto the reins was to hand them personally to Pelosi and he has done everything in his power to do so from not funding the wall, to constant disparaging remarks, to outright nasty, snarky comments. The Repubs did us a great disservice allowing him to remain because he controlled the purse strings for re-elections and only funded those like him RINOs. He refused to fund Conservative Repubs running for the House.

We do not have a “Republican” majority. There are still a few Republicans, but the “Republican Party” is gone. We have only one Party: a coalition of DEM/RINO self-serving socialistic leaning politicians, who totally disdain our Constitution and rule of law, and, if they have their way, will lead us to a dictatorship. Paul Ryan is an established member of this ruling class. This coalition opposes our President because he wants to return to government of the people, by the people and for the people, instead of rule by establishment rulers, who’s motto is, “We’ve got what it takes, to take what you’ve got!”

January can’t come too soon so we can see the last of ryan, hope the president can end birthright citizenship for illegal babies and if the fourteenth amendment is interpreted right it will end without the president having to write an executive order, and then he can revoke all the rest of the citizenship births that were illegal, the catch in the fourteenth is subject to the jurisdiction thereof and the illegals are not under US jurisdiction but the country that they originated from and they are here illegally but still under the jurisdiction of their country, so take a good look at the fourteenth and correct the birthright mess Mr. President

The key phrase here is: “subject to the jurisdiction thereof”. Foreign nationals residing in the United States are not subjects of the United States or its jurisdiction. Therefore they are not citizens and neither are their children, even if born here.
