South Korea’s Leader Wants a Trump-Kim Summit Before November

The President of South Korea is calling for another meeting between President Trump and North Korean Dictator Kim Jong-Un before the November elections.

According to The Hill:

South Korean President Moon Jae-in has called on President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to meet again before the U.S. presidential election in November, a Seoul official said Wednesday, according to Reuters.

Moon reportedly announced the proposition during a remote video conference with European Council President Charles Michel, saying that another summit between Trump and Kim would restart the stalled nuclear negotiations, according to an official from Moon’s office.

“I believe there’s a need for North Korea and the United States to try dialogue one more time before the U.S. presidential election,” the official quoted Moon as saying. “The issues of nuclear programmes and sanctions will ultimately have to be resolved through North Korea-U.S. talks.”

U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Stephen Biegun, who was in charge of working-level negotiations with the North Koreans, said Monday that there could still be time to “make substantial progress” if talks were to resume.

Biegun also stated that holding a meeting before November looks unlikely due to the complications from COVID-19.

Is this a joke ? South Korea wants to help Biden get elected or what ? If the President meets with Kimm before the election Kimm’s not going to agree to anything if he thinks President Trump is not going to win, which is just what he will think with the news Medea and their crooked polls and lies. Then they can tout it as a failure and smear the President with it. NO WAY IN HE** Mr. President, don’t do it.

Kim Jong-Un is a lost cause. The concept of Juche – self determination – runs too deep in the North Korean consciousness to change, at least in the present generation, and beyond that it is not clear that Kim Jong-Un really calls the shots in NK. Trump should just let it go. The odds on success are miniscule, and the political damage done by trying and failing again is considerable.

In my most humble opinion, the days of Mr. Un’s getting everything he wants without any sacrifice, of any kind, are over. He should be put on the “back-burner” until he’s ready to come forward with some serious signs of his own to promote a better, more prosperous and enlightening future for his Countrymen.
