Senate Advances Wall Funding Bill
The Senate has advanced a bill that includes funding for President Trump’s wall amid the objections of Democrats.
According to The Hill:
At a contentious Senate committee hearing Thursday, Republicans pushed through a Homeland Security spending measure that included $5 billion for President Trump‘s proposed border wall over the opposition of Democrats, who vowed to block the bill’s passage on the floor.
Advertisement“This is a waste of taxpayer dollars and bad for our country,” said Senate Appropriations Committee Vice Chairman Patrick Leahy (Vt.), the committee’s top Democrat.
“It is not about solving real problems, it is about fulfilling a campaign promise. And let’s not forget the president promised that Mexico would pay for the wall,” he added.
With the exception of Sen. Joe Manchin (W.Va.), every Democrat on the committee voted against the bill, which passed out of committee 17-14.
This is another sign that the budget and appropriations process has been hampered by the fight over wall funding.

Democrats call the wall a waste of taxpayer money. Since when is it a waste to try to protect the American people. The wall is needed to stop the invasion of illegal criminals, and terrorists, that liberals refuse to acknowledge. The cost of the wall is nothing compared to the waste of money created by the liberal Socialists and their outrageous spending. Congress spends billions of tax dollars, giving these invaders access to every free entitlement program, and just one state spends more on illegals than the total cost of the wall.
These political types that are protecting these illegals should come out to California and experience it first hand. Last week I got a call from a friend who moved to Montana a year ago. His old next door neighbor in Moreno Valley, CA home was damaged by an illegal aliens car. He was attempting to teach his lady friend to drive and she lost control jumping the curb and struck the neighbors home. The estimate to repair the damage was over ten thousand dollars. Moreno Valley Police were summoned and their investigation found the guy had no license, identification or insurance. They told the neighbor sorry we can’t do anything about it because of California’s sanctuary laws. They did have the car towed, which they’ll undoubtedly receive a sharp rebuke from Sacramento. The couple in the car was released with no breath analyzer test. I have a strong feeling I wouldn’t have received the same treatment if I were in his position. The Democrats have turned the Golden State into something that’s nearly unlivable.

While they’re fighting over it concerned citizens have already donated and gotten part of the fence built. The pentagon has okayed funding which amounted to 1% of their infrastructure budget. They know it will stop the flow of illegals they need for their ever shrinking voter base.
When Obama was President Botox Nancy and Chuckie voted for both funding and building the wall. It was never built. I wonder where that money went. Citizenship is a privilege not a right for illegals who start off by ignoring our laws.
Now the fact being that not one inch of fence has been installed under Trump contracts, all the installed fence was from Obama contracts, Now the Senate can pass anything they like but then the House has their bill and the two bills are put together through compromise, and I would be extremely surprised if the House gives any money for the wall.

Leahy talks about a waste of our money when for years the dims have set up shady programs that sent most of the funds to sham organizations that sent the money to the dims in the congress and the bureaucrats who run the programs but very little helped the People in America .
