Here’s Who Will Lead the GOP in the House
The GOP House conference voted on its leadership for the upcoming Congress. Fox News reports:
Rep. Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., beat back a challenge from dark horse candidate, Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, on Wednesday for the role of House minority leader, with Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., nabbing the title of GOP conference chairman.
During a closed-door session with House Republicans, the California lawmaker took a decisive victory against Jordan, bringing in 159 votes to the Ohio representative’s 43 votes.
McCarthy was initially elected to the House in 2006 and has served as the House majority leader since 2014. Jordan is a prominent member of the House Freedom Caucus and an ally of President Trump.
McCarthy “knows what he needs to do,” said GOP Whip Steve Scalise, the Louisiana Republican who was gravely wounded in last year’s congressional baseball practice shooting. On Tuesday, Scalise unanimously won re-election to the No. 2 spot as whip.
The result has upset many conservatives, who were hoping for more committed Republicans in the House to fight for President Trump’s agenda and not caving to the Democrats. Hopefully, McCarthy and his team will follow the President’s lead.

Hey Ray, iI’ve been a Republican for 51 years and demanded my Congressman to vote for Jim Jordan or Mark Meadows as minority speaker. I will officially now chsnge my party affiliation to Independent. These RINO’s lost the house and maybe 7 Governorships. Way to go You bunch of losers. Paul Ryan was a complete disaster and so will McCarthy. Goodbyeto to the Grand Old Party.

Another example of Conservatives not having enough courage to stand up to the RINO’s who are running things. They fell for the “it’s my turn” argument that Kevin McCarthy touted, which is crazy, because the American People overwhelmingly showed they do not agree with that method when we elected Donald J. Trump to the White House over HilLIARy Clinton.
What should take place is the People should get to vote on these positions. Not the rinos.
This is the establishment doing what they have always done. And it is why they lost so many seats. McCarthy will do the same as Rat Ryan and Boner if they get the house back. No guts no glory rinos but their purses get bigger every year and it isn’t from the house pay check. Just as bad as the liars, cheats, thieves and oh will there be deals over the next two years. Another rat in the house running the rino show!
Hopefully, McCarthy will shape up and do what he needs to do, but I’ll be darned if I’m holding my breath. Jim Jordan would be so much better. McCarthy’s Rino posse no doubt put him over the top.

No surprise. They’ll roll over & play dead just like before. We all KNEW the Dims would cheat like crazy, but did they send anybody in to watch things? No, of course not. That’s one reason they lost the majority. People are fed up with a do nothing Congress. The Senate isn’t much better than the House either. I was surprised that McConnell stood up like he did during the Kavanaugh fiasco. Now, they’re going to have to do something to stop the Dims from impeaching Kavanaugh AND our president!
McCarthy is a swamp rat . Just like always . The spineless republicans are fodder for the bully democrats . One would think that by now they would figure out we don’t like them either . The only thing they have are a few like Jim Jordan .
The facts are out there now of who and what the Democratic Party stands for and to be complacent in any way to what the goal going forward should be is leadership and strength to combat the sleezy side that all Americans see on a daily basis and are not fooled by any stretch of the imagination, so Republicans take note and do the job you were elected to do..
The RINO’s are still in charge, as the GOP goes down the drain.

I Already have. Stopped when I saw that only rinos got any help for their elections and reelection runs. And now after Florida’s show to the nation I understand the ballot fraud and I believe that is how McCain won his last election. I knew it was fishy since everyone in the state was fed up with him by 2016 but until I understood the way ballots were collected and counted I was puzzled. And you know if you have been around like McCain that stuffing the ballots since they supposedly are legal if they get to the counters would not be a hugh challenge. Just an insider running em though. And in Florida that counter looked like she could be good old Al’s or Bozo’s sister. Ugh!
