Border Wall COMPLETED
A section of the border wall has been completed and inaugurated by DHS Secretary Nielsen. The Washington Examiner reports:
Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen on Friday unveiled the first completed border wall project that was constructed as a result of President Trump’s push to further secure the U.S.-Mexico border.
“Walls work, it’s not my opinion,” Nielsen said at the ceremony near downtown Calexico, a rural border town of approximately 38,000 residents. “It’s not a tag line. It’s a fact.”
AdvertisementConstruction of the 30-foot, 2.5-mile-long wall began in February and lasted eight months. Nielsen watched as welders affixed a sign to the wall to commemorate the event. It’s now the tallest barrier on the entire 2,000-mile-long southwest border.
“Looking at this, I would not attempt to climb it,” Nielsen said.
This is a strong start to better border security, and the wall project can now be expanded to the rest of the border.

This is about false news! The Border Wall is not Completed! There is miles without fence. Who would put this headline on White House News? Does it make you think we believe this crap. Yes they did complete a small area! Don’t lie to us saying the whole thing is Completed! When it is done we can rejoice. then wait for the one on North Border!
Why does that wind your clock, or get your shorts in a bind? They are building it, and will be building more. Each section, within each state, is a project, with own contract. If you believed President Trump would be able to get the whole wall, with all the sensors, and support done this year, you must believe in Easter Bunny, and Santa too. How old are you, and is this your first experience with politics. I was born in 1929, and I have heard a lot of “completions” in those years, under different presidents, and politicians, and know how it works. After military service from Korean Conflict, cold war, and Vietnam conflict, we heard lot of “completions” which turned out to not be completed yet. Give the President a break, and write positively, with support. The Democrats will provide the negatives, and also the opposition, and the living up to their original icon. I used to work team of mules, so know how to activate them.

Trump is stating that the section of Wall he got the funding fir is completed. Get with the program and introduce yourself to some common sense if possible.

The article said that 2.5 miles of 30 foot border wall was up around Calexico. Now we just need to see the rest of our southern border wall put in place!
Read the article. It did NOT say the whole border had a wall,it said they REPLACED A portion. Geez ma neezy,read first then make a cmment.
Great work too. 2-1/2 miles in 7 months. Great work. at that rate it will tale jut over 59-1./2 years to complete it…..Lady, it stinks and they should have kept it a secrete. I’d be ashamed to let anybody know I worked on it. It tool only 8 months to COMPLETE the Alaska Highway,,,,and that is a heavy duty trucking road over some of the worst terrain in the world, not just a stinkin’ fence in some of the nicest weather in the country.

Click bate and fake news that would do CNN proud. – I sure hope the Prez was not involved in this total disaster. During WWII the Alaska Highway only took 6 months to COMPLETE. But although that was a road and not just a fence it was about 300 miles shorter. It is pitiful that first, they took that long for such a simple project, and second are resorting to fake news worthy of the NWO Marxists (democrats)

Have you ever been to the wall? Some of it has a natural wall that does not need any steel, bricks, or other then sensors, and drones flyng over to let border agents know where to go pick up very tired folks, needing water and rest. Speaking of the Big Bend Country with 600 foot walls which is natural wall. And definition of a wall needs to be read, and then understood. A tall building, truck, big box store, or any other barrier is a wall. So get your head off of a continuous 30 fott wall connecting all of that border. The drones in the sky, bringing agents is a barrier, therefore a wall. CAPICE?

Face facts people, it clearly stated the length and height of the completed section of wall. And that is all which is currently authorized and funded. One should recall that over ten years ago there was a (rare) bipartisan law passed called the “Secure Fence Act” and signed into law by George Bush. But
Obama dragged his feet and did not carry out his job responsibilities to fully execute and implement the law. At least what has been completed is a start. And if and when funds are authorized, you can believe Trump won’t drag his feet!

The wall has not been completed! Only a section of it has. People can still go around it or enter at other points on the boarder. There is still a long ways to go to complete the wall.
We will need less folks watching this section! Now to the river and places with nothing but boards or wire, they will need extra help! And Shoot out any and all rubber tire tubes! Put holes in any boats or rafts they make. Bull dose deep ravines on both sides of the fences THAT are not up yet and and all the way down to the end. And we can thank all the demonRATS for the wall not being up already! If this all ends badly, may you all rot in Hell! Its OUR SAFETY YOU ARE PLAYING GAMES WITH!
Desperately needed Wall, please continue to complete the entire southern portion of our country to keep out illegal immigrants and also pay attention to our northern borders as they’re as vulnerable but could be protected by technology and Border Control agents.
