Newsom Hit With Major Fine

California Governor Gavin Newsom has been hit with a major fine for his discriminatory lockdowns of churches.
According to Town Hall:
California Gov. Gavin Newsom has been ordered by a federal judge to pay $1.35 million for the lockdown of 3,000 churches amid the coronavirus pandemic, which has been deemed discriminatory.
AdvertisementNewsom is required to pay the costs and attorney fees for a lawsuit from Harvest Rock Church that went to the United States Supreme Court. The judge said Newsom and other state officials cannot regulate church attendance unless certain dire circumstances laid out were to arise, which is not likely.
U.S. District Court Judge Jesus G. Bernal ruled that limitations on church gatherings can only be imposed if child infections rise 100 percent, cases in the state are at a minimum of 26 per 100,000 people or available ICU hospital bed capacity drops to under 20 percent.
California may only place restrictions on churches if they are identical to other social gatherings.
The layer who represented the church, Matt Staver, called Newsom the “worst governor in America.”
So who’s money will he use to pay the fine?
I’ll bet that Church never collects a dime from that crook!
Sure they will, taxpayer’s money.
Yeh right he’ll pay.1.35 million of the tax payers dollars.
Tax payers deserve the fine they elected that fool
In short, those without GOD could care less about the people that believe. Not all Atheists are Communists; but, all Communists are Atheists and believe government is god.
The crook needs to pay it – NOT US!!!!!
California, please get out in droves and vote him out. Please start realizing that the DEMONKRAPS don’t have your best interests at heart. All they want to to control you and take your money.
Does anybody with 2 brain cells to rub together think this is coming out of Nancy Piglosi’s nephew’s pocket? Of course this crooked hypocrite will stick the Cali taxpayers (what few that are left) with the tab.
which is worse newsom or nancy his aunt
Hard to tell the difference. Lol!
He got off cheap. That’s less than a dollar per signatory on his recall petition.
while I am quite happy to see the supreme’s supporting amendment 1 of the constitution, I fear that the penalty will simply come Out of the State tax “Rainy day fund” surplus revenue, which should not even Exist in the first place. So NOW kalifornians will have to pay again for the Error of Electing one of Nutty nancy’s relatives. although it will enhance the chances of his being recalled.
