Here’s Who Will Build The Wall
President Trump is looking for new ways to build the wall on the Mexican border. The Washington Examiner reports:
Defense Secretary Jim Mattis is considering a request from the Department of Homeland Security that he spend about $450 million to build part of President Trump’s border wall in Arizona.
But the construction itself could run headlong into time-consuming environmental regulations and the funding may require support from a Congress that is bitterly divided over Trump, the border and immigration.
AdvertisementThe Pentagon provided no timeline for Mattis’ decision on Friday. Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen sent the request last month after announcing in April that the agency was looking into ways the military could help complete the president’s promised wall.
“We’re going to have our wall, and we’re going to get it very strongly. The military’s going to be building some of it,” Trump said at the time.
The military’s job is to defend America. Why not start at the border?

If ever there was a NEED that is being played as a political football, it is the wall President Trump wants to construct to REDUCE the ILLEGAL immigration into the United States. While people ‘fret’ about the cost (or who will provide the funds), the cost TO THE AMERICAN TAXPAYER to support ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION and IMMIGRANTS is immense. Just this fact ALONE should justify the ‘out of pocket’ expense to reduce this CONTINUING DEMAND !!!
The entire cost of the wall could be paid back in one years savings on money spent for illegal aliens.
I agree, and why those opposed to the wall can’t understand this is beyond my comprehension. The reduced outlay to Illegals will pay for the wall in about 3 years. Your saving Hugh sums forever thereafter. Build the wall.
How long did America been suckered to provide welfare to the illegals. The amount alone to provide education to men, women and children, the food they eat every time of the day, the medical and dental services to all of the illegals, the housing they lived comfortably, their stipends to buy clothes, shoes and personal effects of these are more than the cost of the wall. Now, the Americans have awaken and demand to end the welfare to illegals and use the money to build the wall. It will save the lives of our children, our citizens from drugs, and crimes and senseless death, too.
End the Jobs/Welfare magnets and the underpaid foreign workers will self-deport,
we will get our jobs back at 40 years ago equivalent wages and pay for the wall with our increased taxes.
Our US Military should be wanting to help build the WALL, with Gusto!
