Does Anyone Care About January 6th Hearings? Polls Avoid Asking
Recent polls asking voters about their priorities have steadfastly avoided directly asking about, or even mentioning, the January 6th hearings. Instead, some pollsters use terms similar to the left’s rhetoric surrounding the events at the Capitol in order to avoid embarrassing headlines about the apparent lack of interest.
As David Freddoso of the Washington Examiner notes, there has been an astonishing effort to avoid asking the question straight up.
The latest poll to ask voters about their priorities, a New York Times/Siena College poll, asked what the “most important problem facing the country today” is. The closest option given that could be linked to January 6th was “the state of democracy/political division”.
It could mean a variety of things, yet still only 11% of respondents chose it as the most important issue.
“Trump/Republicans” was another possible option, it could be argued somewhat more directly linked to the events on January 6th if not the hearings themselves. Yet only 2% of voters chose that option, within the margin of error for the survey.
Not even a full percent chose “domestic terrorism” as the main problem.
Why do pollsters refuse to ask about something that half of the politicians in our country have delated the most urgent threat to democracy in decades?
Freddoso has a guess, concluding his piece:
“I think the answer, if we ever get it, will embarrass a lot of self-important Beltway journalists who have spent the last few weeks covering nothing else.”

I might be interested if we got Pelosi’s emails along with Capitol Police accounts. Then include testimony of those who transported our elected President during the “so called” insurrection. But since it’s a total sham I can careless about their clown circus.
The Jan.6 commission needs to be investigated along with the scheming of Nancy Pelousy. But higher on my list of priorities, is taxation. The taxing of income needs to be done away with. It is the worst way to tax there is. What we need is to tax everyone the same through the FairTax HR25. The FairTax is revenue neutral and will fully fund the SS and Medicare programs. It will increase the number of people we collect taxes from. No longer will the underground economy run around tax free. No longer will the IRS be able to single out honest citizens for retribution. The IRS will be a thing of the past. Our GDP will go up as much as 10%. Unemployment will go down because there will be many businesses returning to our shores plus many foreign businesses wanting to do business here. It eliminates the 16th amendment. Yes, the clown show known as Jan.6 is just that. But let’s get our tax system fixed.

Watching the J6 hearings is like watching maggots eating a dead skunk. It’s only interesting if you’ve never seen maggots before. Unfortunately, in my 68 years on this planet, I have seen plenty in the halls of congress, in the office of the president, and in the local Statehouse, and I don’t really want to see any more in my lifetime.
As an alternative for anyone who actually is watching them, Green Acres reruns take less time per episode, and are almost as funny as the J6 Pageant. And, the acting is better.
It is all Kabuki theater staged and choreographed by Communist Democrats, no doubt with the help of their Hollywood supporters. A complete waste of time and taxpayers’ money. Democrats do not know how to do anything constructive to help America; all they know is hate America and Her history, Founding Fathers, and our Constitution. The TV ratings tell you all you need to know about how “popular” this fiasco is- only the woke Neanderthals watch. There is no saving grace for them or this stupid phony “trial.” Let’s get a constructive trial going on Hunter- now that I would watch. There is a VALID basis for a Hunter Biden trial who made millions off of pedaling influence while Joe was VP and now while he is President. Why she refused to have the national guard there as extra security, why Capitol police let people in, why Ray Epps hasn’t been arrested, why feds were in the crowd, and what “ optics” was that old hag concerned about! THAT is what we want to know, NOT their bull crap lies they are telling! What a sham! Piglosi should be removed from congress for sedition and treason! And, NO i’m Not watching the clown show.
