Protesters at Disneyland California Gather to Rally Against Company’s LGBT Stance

Protesters chanting “grooming is wrong” and “boycott Disney” gathered outside of Disneyland in Anaheim, California to let their voices be heard on recent changes the company has pledged to make after pressure from LGBT activists.

It started when the company did not immediately come out against Florida’s Parental Rights in Education bill, which forbids the teaching of sexual education to children in K-3rd grade. Activists said it would marginalize the LGBT community.

After it passed, Disney released a statement condemning the bill, stating, “Our goal as a company is for this law to be repealed by the legislature or struck down in the courts, and we remain committed to supporting the national and state organizations working to achieve that.” It also apologized for its initial silence.

Videos then surfaced on Twitter showing Disney officials discussing how to work more LGBT content into their programming. One executive producer openly stated she had a “not-at-all secret gay agenda”.

Protesters have also showed up at Orlando’s Walt Disney World and Walt Disney Animation Studies in California. They’re accusing the company of grooming children by exposing them to content with overt references to sexual orientation.
