House Minority Leader Keven McCarthy (R-CA) intends to speak with Representative Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) about racy comments he made on a recent “Warrior Poet Society” podcast.

The young Congressman, just 26 years old, made the remarks after being asked how the Netflix series “House of Cards” compares to the real DC, per The Hill:

“I look at all these people, a lot of them that I’ve looked up to through my life, I’ve always paid attention to politics,” Cawthorn said. “Then all of the sudden you get invited to, ‘Well hey, we’re going to have kind of a sexual get together at one of our homes, you should come.’”

“I’m like, ‘What did you just ask me to come to?’” Cawthorn continued. “And then you realize they are asking you to come to an orgy.”

He added that he has seen people who advocate for fighting against addiction do cocaine in front of him.

Rep. Steve Womack (R-Ark.) stood up in a House Republican Conference meeting on Tuesday to address the comment, according to a source in the room. Other members also expressed that they were upset at Cawthorn’s allegations.

A spokesperson for Womack told The Hill that he felt very strongly about addressing the comments from Cawthorn.

Uh oh… “kids” will do that! Clearly Cawthorn hit some nerves! Just wait ’til he rolls over some of the “sacred cows”! That really sets off a $h9t storm! At its “best”, Congress is like bad grand Guignol. Consider it from his side: it’like when you found out abt Santa Claus, as a kid! He used to think Congress critters were honest… imagine his shock! But, of course, the perpetually offend3dwill react like the spoiled “adult children” they are, & want ” teacher” Pelosi to kick him off the “playground”, because he dared speak an unpopular truth!

Well, I’ve come to the point that good old Herman Cain’s Rule rings true: 1/3 of the GOP are good, 1/3 are wicked or despicable. The remaining 1/3 are corruptible opportunists who hang their flag according to the prevailing wind.
