Liberal Governor’s Approval Rating Plummets
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is getting bad polling news.
According to The Washington Free Beacon:
Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s (D., Mich.) job approval rating has plummeted more than 10 points in the last year, according to a state poll.
AdvertisementThe Glengariff Group, a Michigan survey research firm, found only 48 percent of voters approve of Whitmer’s performance as governor, whereas 46 percent disapprove. In September 2020, the same poll found 59 percent of voters approved of Whitmer’s leadership and 38 percent disapproved. The shift in opinions occurred most noticeably among independent voters.
Whitmer’s lagging poll numbers come after a year of reports showed Whitmer repeatedly violating her own COVID health policies. In June 2020, she joined hundreds to march in a protest during one of the peaks of the coronavirus pandemic. And in January, she attended President Joe Biden’s inauguration—an outdoor event with thousands of attendees—even though she levied a 25-person cap on outdoor gatherings in her state. She was photographed in May violating her own COVID-19 restrictions again while sitting with more than six diners in a bar.
Michigan’s auditor general is also investigating Whitmer to determine how many nursing home residents died of COVID-19 as a result of her controversial pandemic policies.
A majority polled also see the state of Michigan as on the wrong track and see Biden as a disaster.

When COVID came along, Whitmer mandated all sorts of lockdowns. In the short term, everyone was accepting of this tactic, not knowing what COVID was or how best to treat it.
However, in the months after, she continued to act like a dictator, NOT listening to our GOP-majority Congress and their thoughts.
She allowed the purchase of alcohol, lottery tix, and cigarettes, and allowed road crews to work outside but she banned:
Then she had her husband demand the boat storage place to have her boat in the water in time for Memorial Day weekend . . . the boat storage guy told him “NO – I’m too busy.” and then made the call public.
She also told people they couldn’t travel out of state, YET, several from her team were seen on FaceBook in Florida having a good ol time. Eventually, Gretchen also traveled down to Florida on a private jet.
Gretchen also spent time in her northern get-away while telling others NOT to travel north.

Gretchen Whitmer, like her Democrat predecessor, Jennifer Granholm (currently part of Biden’s Cabinet) SUCKS!! She should have been recalled. For the record, our Sec. of State AND our AG are all Democrat women and were complicit in the ILLEGAL ELECTION of 2020!
