Franken Eyeing Comeback?

Disgraced Democrat Al Franken could be eyeing a comeback.

At least according to reports.

According to The Washington Free Beacon:

Disgraced former Democratic senator Al Franken says he is keeping his political “options open.”

Franken, who has returned to stand-up comedy since he resigned from the U.S. Senate in 2018 after multiple women accused him of sexual harassment, told a Massachusetts paper that he is considering another bid for public office. “I’m keeping my options open,” Franken told the Republican.

Franken’s soon-to-begin comedy tour, “The Only Former U.S. Senator Currently on Tour,” is an attempt by the two-term senator to impact politics from outside Washington, D.C. “I believe comedy and satire is a very valid way—and sometimes almost a more productive way—of affecting public opinion,” Franken said.

Franken also criticized his Democratic colleagues for forcing him out without giving him a chance to defend himself. “I wanted due process, but I had 36 colleagues and a majority leader who wouldn’t give it to me, so it was impossible. But you do have some regrets. It was a very weird, tough situation at that moment,” Franken said. “I love the Senate. I love the work that I did.”

Franken will not likely be able to return to the Senate where two Democrats, Amy Klobuchar, and Tina Smith hold office currently.

Franken should just stick to serving beer–Franken Stein–and leave politics to those who are not yet driven out in disgrace.

There’s enough criminals in Congress and Senate. We don’t need more of them.

“I’m good enough, I’m smart enough, and dog gone it, people like me,” said Franken as his SNL character Stuart Smalley.

The response of anyone who has an IQ higher than 2: “Like Hell we do! Go away and let us forget about you and all you did wrong while in the Senate.”

As a Minnesotan Franken is a loser same as Klobuchar and Smith. They haven’t done anything for this state but tear it apart. They have turned the Twin Cities into a shithole now the problem is they all are moving north and we don’t want them bringing their liberal crap with them.

When Franken “won” the Senate in the first place it was because he lost and had a recount and oh guess what? He won. I always felt he cheated. He was an insufferable Senator and pray god he does not go back.
