Florida Dem Admits to Media Bias
A Florida Democrat has admitted, out loud, to the insane bias held by the media against the GOP.
According to The Washington Free Beacon:
“Ron DeSantis has Fox News, but we have everyone else,” Fried tweeted Wednesday night as the network aired an interview with DeSantis, Florida’s Republican governor. “Florida will be blue in 2022.”
AdvertisementIt is unclear to which news outlets Fried was referring. Fried did not respond to a request for comment.
De Santis’s popularity has grown with Republicans across the country in the past year, largely because of his record on the coronavirus pandemic. He has also become a frequent target of liberal media outlets. In April, for example, 60 Minutes misleadingly cut video of DeSantis’s press conferences to imply a quid pro quo relationship with the grocery chain Publix for vaccine distribution. The flubbed hit piece ultimately worked in the Florida governor’s favor: State politicians from both sides of the aisle came to DeSantis’s defense, and his ability to combat the media attack further solidified him as a Republican star.
Fried, Florida’s commissioner of agriculture and the only Democrat in the state’s cabinet, announced her run for governor on June 1. She trails DeSantis by a 22-point margin in the state, according to a June poll.
Fried is also trailing behind in the Democratic primary race against Rep. Charlie Crist, who, as a Republican, served as governor of Florida from 2007 to 2011.
Fried has been a staunch opponent of DeSantis and most of her criticisms have actually turned into victories for DeSantis.

It is time we stand up and support people who love the USA and do not want to turn it into a Communist/Socialist country. Never submit to socialism as it has never been successful for very long and where it still exists the people who live there are fleeing to other countries because socialism/communism does not work. They will turn on anyone who is not a sheeple, who has the principles and the c.o.j.o.n.e.s to stand up for what is right and what is according to genuine American values. Go back and watch the Invasion of the Body Snatchers: the new bean-pod humanoids were no longer individuals. For them it was all about ‘US’ vs. ‘them,’ the individuals of real humanity. In that film I see a cogent parable of prophecy, a striking parallel to today’s Democrats.
