Trump’s AG Barr Always Stood Up for Constitution Despite Democrat Attacks?

US Department of Justice

A new article by The Washington Free Beacon outlines how outgoing Attorney General Bill Barr always stood up for the Constitution despite attacks from the left.

According to the outlet:

Trump’s festivus list was long. First came news that contrary to his wishes, the Justice Department would not release the findings of prosecutor John Durham’s investigation into the origins of the FBI’s Russia probe before the November election. Then there was Barr’s statement earlier this month that, contrary to the president’s claims, he had seen no evidence of widespread election fraud. Over the weekend, the Wall Street Journal reported that Barr made sure the federal government’s investigation of President-elect Joe Biden’s ne’er-do-well son Hunter didn’t see the light of day in the run-up to November 3rd.

The coup de grâce is the widespread reporting indicating that Trump finally soured on his attorney general when Barr refused to involve himself in the president’s legal crusade. Those who know Barr anticipated that the two would come to blows—and they had little doubt that Barr would land on the side of the law.

That should have surprised Democrats who, like the president they despise, eschewed substantive debate in favor of vicious personal attacks. The esteemed Rep. Eric Swalwell (D., Calif.) likened Barr to Trump flunky Michael Cohen, “an underworld fixer for Donald Trump.” Judiciary Committee chairman Jerrold Nadler accused Barr of waging war against the upright and principled career officials at the Department of Justice “in an apparent attempt to secure favors for the president.”

Democrats were not to be outdone by their friends in the mainstream media. The New York Times’s Maureen Dowd dubbed Barr “minister of information”; at the Washington Post, the liberal columnist Greg Sargent argued that Barr “is party to Trump’s scheme to maintain power via illicit means if necessary.”

The attacks on Barr were similar to those on Amy Cone Barret. The left said that they would do Trump’s bidding, painting them as partisans. But to them, the constitution comes first even when unpopular.

Emotions are still high and when your party is in power you want them to push the limits of the constitution but the constitution is there to push pack regardless of what party is in power. Sometimes that is just hard to see.

Hi Philip I agree with you 100% that AG Barr had an obligation to bring to justice any and especially all high ranking officials serving in our Government. When Barr said he wasn’t going to include Obama/biden in his Russia Hoax investigation Even though it was known that this was started by Hillary Clinton and discussed by Obama/biden in the Oval Office along with a few other people like Susan Rice and some heads of the Intelligence Dept. The FBI was certainly involved in trying to stop Candidate trump and continued on after he was Elected POTUS. I can only see this in two very different ways in regards to AG Barr. #1 is that he really was a Trump hater and just wanted to help get him unseated or setup to lose the Election as he delayed letting out information on how the Investigation was going and even after the Election we are still in the Dark of what the investigation will show and if anyone will be prosecuted. John Durhams investigation is long overdue, just as the Hunter Biden has been withheld from the public to protect the entire Biden family. So that seems to be okay when Ag Barr on the other hand says that there was no evidence of voter fraud in the presidential Election. And that is a lot of Bulls hit at best. For 4 years plus President Trump was harassed by the Fake News Media with all their false accusations and the Democratic party who relentlessly attacked Him in every way imaginable for 4 years on Fake Stories that would be the truth if it was about them. I feel that along with Carter Paige any one that had charges made by the FBI and the Justice Department ought also file Law Suits claiming they were charged, harassed, or convicted of a crime, Like General M. Flynn, that was not true. So with our FBI and Justice Dept. illegally going after Innocent People instead of the Real criminals involved in these Governmental Fake investigations. Remember AG Barr “NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW”, including any Political Office holder past and Present. I hope he can sleep easy at night with knowing he did not uphold the Constitution of the United States of America. Also the only way to have a legal Election is to have the census dept. have a record of all living people who are eligible to vote with proper identification and vote either through in person or through Absentee Ballots with proper signatures to allow them to be counted. I am running out of time but I will send off a suggestion of how to run a legal Voting Process to the Senate.

The D.C SWAMP is a prestigious and expensive piece of real estate.BARRS lily pad has floated in the ooze too long to let it drain. Don’t worry though, MS13 plans on future development of a larger cesspool.

I am so disappointed in AG Barr and the Supreme Court minus Clarence Thomas and Judge Alito. What on earth is wrong with these people.

Barr was one of those Trump mistakes. Why can’t he just admit it? Trump was not aggressive enough in his promise to clean or rid us of the swamp. Now it is about to take back over with the collusion of the RINOs.

Constitution, A1S6: Congress persons can be arrested for TREASON, FELONY and BREACH of PEACE. A2S4: President can be IMPEACHED. A3S1: Judges shall hold their office during GOOD BEHAVIOR. Marbury vs Madison: Laws REPUGNANT to the Constitution are VOID. Any Official who VIOLATES THEIR OATH commits a CRIME. Democrats sue. We can sue. Let’s file criminal charges against those who violate their Oath (In contempt of the People). Democrats have attacked our Constitutional Protected Liberties for over 50 years. They keep doing it because they don’t get sued! Forget Barr. Go after the real criminals.

The Constitution was our permanent Benevolent Monarch that protected the people of our nation from the selfish politicians. The Democrats have fought for years to eliminate it. Barr let them do just that and we are witnessing the end of our Country.

Over the next two weeks we the people need to push hard on officials Local , State and Federal to go full McCarthyism in the Senate and to reopen the Committee on Unamerican Activities in the house of representatives then drag both Soros and Koch in front of it followed by a seemingly endless parade of communists ,communist sympathizers and other subversives and when we meet resistance and we will meet resistance now that the powers that be have gotten the suckers to vote and plan to dump us to the wayside like they always do it’s time for recall elections of officials Local, State and Federal . We went through hell this year and just as 2019 was worse then 2018 and 2020was worse then 2019 , 2021 will be worse then 2020 unless we shut this down hard. Gray Davis tried to pull a fast one on California just as the nation got played this year and California kicked Davis through the goal post and out of the stadium in a recall election . We got played this year but the powers that be had to spend a massive amount of time , resources , money and people to do it and they can’t do it again so soon. So it’s time for punishment instead of waiting for what ever hits us next.

DOJ & FBI personnel from top to bottom are better know in military and civilian police circles as; “PFC’s (private first class) in business suits”! First learned of this nickname when I was assigned in early 1972 to teach (neutralization of special threats) in the Civil Disturbance Orientation Course (better known as ‘SEADOC’ in the military and civilian law enforcement community). Spent many hours with DOJ and FBI personnel assisting American communities and allied nations in dealing with civil disobedience. Later, while first assigned as the Pacific Area Provost Marshal and then the U.S. Army CID commander in the Canal Zone was required to work closely with the U.S. Attorney, FBI, and DEA. During the period the nickname was validated in spades. Every minor action required permission somewhere way up their chain-of-command. Found most of the personnel were not only weak in assuming a level of responsibility required to be effective in their positions, but when anything went wrong they were quick to blame any/everyone except themselves. My favorite bone to pick with all three groups was their laziness! Even when a case was clearly in their jurisdiction they expected most of the leads to be handed to them gifted wrapped.
