Department of State Blames Anti-American Educators for Undermining Efforts to Counter China

The Department of State is blaming Anti-American educators for hindering their attempts at countering the Chinese Communist regime.

According to The Washington Free Beacon:

The United States’ ability to counter the rise of China is being undermined by anti-American attitudes in the education system, according to a new State Department report outlining a longterm strategy to compete with China.

The agency said Americans need to be educated about the strategic threat that Beijing poses to U.S. interests and called for government officials and the public to have access to English translations of Chinese Communist Party speeches. Such an effort, according to the State Department, could be undermined by high school and college systems that are hostile to America’s founding principles and history.

“America’s grade schools, middle schools, high schools, and colleges and universities have to a dismaying degree abandoned well-rounded presentations of America’s founding ideas and constitutional traditions in favor of propaganda aimed at vilifying the nation,” the paper reads. “In the face of these polarizing forces, the United States must reclaim its own legacy of liberty.”

“For years, students have been taught American history as an unbroken chain of violated promises, ignoring the groundbreaking work Americans have done to advance the cause of personal liberty and individual responsibility,” Peterson said. “Is it any wonder that students, convinced America is inherently bigoted, find Chinese propaganda persuasive?”

The China threat will last long beyond the current administration and the only way to counter it is with a unified national approach.

The public schools in America have been anti-America now for a couple of decades. The Secretary of Education needs to get off her duff and start getting the public schools back on track. The kids in M.S. know so little!!!! No history, no geography, can’t spell, can’t write – and the list goes on. The only thing that is close to being on track are the fine arts and ………… Schools are WAY TOO LIBERAL!!

The teachers union and its so-called teachers, really leftist indoctrinators, are at the HEART of America’s decline into leftist marxist socialism! They are corrupt at least mentally and have spoiled successively the past two generations in general and much worse in the corrupt leftist strongholds of NY and CA.

This story surprises me given so many at the top in the Dept. of State are either still swimming in the swamp or outright communist sympathizers.

Awwww, don’t be so mean to the teachers and the Public Education System (PES)! They are now the arbiters of all things social, religious, sexual and political now. Aren’t you glad you no longer have any input into what you child is subjected to at school every day?
Poor teachers! They have to indoctrinate our children with the latest ‘woke’ crap, 1619 crap, anti-Christian crap, anti-Jewish crap, LGBT crap, abortion crap, anti-white crap, anti-male crap, anti-gun crap, anti-Constitution crap. How can they possibly have the time to teach actual US and World history, math, English reading and writing, political science, economics, civics, science? The average HS grad reads at the third grade level and does first grade math. How is that acceptable to us? The PES (including teachers) is 100% paid by US, the taxpayers, yet we have to input into what our kids learn.
So what if they don’t learn what fractions are, how to read and write in cursive, have no clue about our country’s governance and history? Hey, they all know they can change their biology by wearing a dress, everything is about systemic racism (and it’s their fault), socialism is their friend, and Orange Man Bad. Oh, and How to Get an Abortion without Your Parents Finding Out (true, people- Planned Parenthood creates ‘sex education’ programs for K-12. That abortion class is marketed for 11 year old girls. Lines up well with the left’s forced shared bathrooms, locker rooms and SHOWERS for ‘transgender students’.
sarcasm, friends
SCHOOL CHOICE, SCHOOL VOUCHERS, CHARTER SCHOOLS: Telly way to save our children from the evil leftist indoctrination system (PES).

I might add, don’t be shocked to learn that parochial schools have ‘some’ educators following the curriculum you just listed…My children attended parochial schools from kindergarten through 12th grade. I did find issues with 3-high school teachers and confronted them – did get his attention but he argued it was “his class room”.

Stalin, Lenin, Hitler and all the other dictators in the world knew that the key to overcoming the People was first to take over the media and then the schools.Of course the first thing that all of these dictators did was to take away the guns from the people, unarmed people are little to no threat to the government. That is the very reason that the Founders of this Great Republic put the 2nd Amendment into the Constitution.

Public education, K-12 through our best universities, is the business of neither federal nor state government. Public education has collapsed intellectually but cannot be replaced as you would replace your home. It’s just too big. The central problem is the notion of “public” education and “federal” intrusion. Children will improve when parents feel it’s their money being spent. And adults will be more careful about their private money.

Public teaching has been fundamentally transformed into an enormous entitlement, and dispensing entitlements is the heart of the democrat strategy. It cannot be said too many times: the absence of competition is the problem. This kind of corruption is a byproduct of public education.

Regarding K-12, state governments may immediately start allowing per pupil allocations to be awarded to any accredited institution according to the parents’ choice. Many states have such systems operating under various titles but the principle is privatization. States could use existing accreditation systems or establish their own.

A comprehensive free enterprise education system eliminates the ability to trample one civil right by supporting an opposing civil right. Perhaps more importantly, it precludes indoctrination of students to unwelcome political agendas. Government schools should be allowed to compete with private schools.

The primary problem with the K-12 segment is it’s a monopoly in a nation where monopoly is considered a criminal enterprise for everyone else. A major flaw is taxpayers, with no children and those whose children have graduated from public schools, have no choice regarding which institution receives their money. I’ve never heard it mentioned that such taxpayers are in a vast majority but the government makes that choice for them. Colleges compete for government money.

The school choice solution is not the teachers’ idea of choice and certainly not the union’s idea. Most know what’s needed is a robust free market filled with all kinds of accredited schools, able to deliver general subjects as well as all kinds of specialties, including athletics and the arts. Bottom line, it’s a very bad idea for any government to educate its children.

The American Communist Movement has been infiltrating and influencing Unions in America for over 100 years. They even have a presence in the American Federation of Government Employees, who sent a contingent from it’s National Border to Johannesburg, South Africa to celebrate with Nelson Mandela his and the Marxist African National Congress on their overthrow of the Republic of South Africa’s government.

In many parts of this nation it is tantamount to neglect and cruelty to put your child in the public education systems. This especially true in all the leftist strongholds of this country . The absolute worst just happen to coincide with the hotspots of the ongoing vote fraud that is currently in dispute and all of those blue states!
