Trump Ally Graham Getting Big Help in South Carolina

A major GOP Super Pac is coming to Trump-ally Lindsay Graham’s aid in a contentious Senate race in South Carolina.

According to The Hill:

A top super PAC with ties to the GOP Senate leadership is preparing to roll out a $10 million ad barrage in South Carolina as Republicans look to boost Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) in his unexpectedly tight reelection bid.

The Senate Leadership Fund (SLF) will launch its three-week television and radio blitz starting Saturday in an effort to push Graham over the finish line in his race against Democrat Jaime Harrison, who has closed his polling gap with the South Carolina Republican and emerged as a fundraising juggernaut.

Consecutive polls have shown the Senate race is a statistical tie after Graham enjoyed a double-digit lead earlier this year. And Harrison has flexed his financial muscle, raising $10.6 million in August alone and $2 million in the two days after a poll released last month showed the race deadlocked.

Signs of Harrison’s strength in the race have spurred Democratic groups to jump into the race, with the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) last month announcing a seven-figure investment on his behalf and Senate Majority PAC coming in with another $6.5 million.

The GOP is working to protect a slim Senate majority and see even a seemingly safe seat in South Carolina as a place where they need to spend money.

If Lindsey wasn’t such a typical politician he wouldn’t need to be rescued.

Don’t know about that. Still, I’d rather have him than a Democrat anyday!

Lindsey Graham is what we in the South call a “working man” who has a job and it keeps him busy unlike some Dems in the Senate … Graham actually works.

They must have a lot of voters still not paying attention to what is happening in this country, or the democrat candidate is running more scams like Omar, and several other democrats have done. Wonder how many dead people are supporting the democrat, or people not registered, such as illegals, and violent felons.

Ron, I’m in total agreement, isn’t there a saying, something to the effect of, there are none more blind than those that WILL not see? I see it every day. Mooney shouldn’t buy government positions; people’s works should be the reason to vote for them! I believe there should be a max. amt. allowable to spend when campaigning. The Dems have done nothing FOR this country for 13 1/2 yrs., quite often not in session,k but they’ve rec. pay checks and guaranteed pensions at working U S CITIZEN’S expense! How many U S workers are guaranteed lifetime pensions these days?
