Trump Campaign Sues Three Iowa Counties Over Voting Policy

The Trump campaign has sued 3 counties in Iowa over their absentee voting mailings.

According to The Hill:

The Trump campaign is suing three Iowa counties over their absentee ballot request forms, marking the latest effort to go after states and localities that seek to make it easier to vote by mail this fall.

According to the Associated Press, the campaign is arguing that the mail-in ballot applications for Woodbury, Johnson and Linn county residents violate a directive from Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate (R) that stipulated the forms must be completely blank when they’re sent out.

The applications sent by those three counties reportedly had some information filled in for recipients. The counties argue that sending blank applications could disenfranchise voters who do not know their voting pin or driver’s license number.

President Trump has a slight edge over former Vice President Joe Biden in Iowa, according to recent polls. A Real Clear Politics average of recent surveys shows Trump with a less than 2 percent point advantage over Biden. Trump won Iowa handily in 2016, defeating Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton by about 10 percentage points.

This lawsuit is part of a larger effort by the Trump campaign to sue states and counties over their voting rules.

If people can stand in line at grocery stores, home improvement stores or even convenience stores for gas, sodas and chips, they can stand in line to vote.

Yes they can! If mail in ballot are allowed, requirements need put in place. ID & copy of voter registration mailed in with ballots. Must be requested early enough that ballots have time to be returned in time to be counted before Election Day. That way people are not allowed to vote twice.

That’s one of the most obvious bs excuses in history. If they don’t know their drivers license number, take it out of their wallet or purse, and look at it. If they are too stupid to do that, then they really shouldn’t be voting anyway.

Dead people are unable to read their drivers license number.
Unable to cast a legitimate ballot.
