Trump Endorsed Senate Candidate Defeats Former AG Sessions

Trump endorsed Senate candidate Tommy Tuberville defeated former Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

According to Fox News:

Tommy Tuberville and President Trump were the winners in Tuesday’s Republican Senate primary runoff in Alabama.

Tuberville, a first-time politician and former Auburn University football coach, defeated former U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions thanks, in part, to an endorsement from the president. The Associated Press projected Tuberville as the winner in the election about 90 minutes after the polls closed in Alabama.

Sessions — who was fighting for his political life — was also fending off the ire of the president. He served a dozen years as a senator from Alabama before becoming Trump’s first attorney general in 2017, but Sessions angered the president by recusing himself that year from the Russia investigation into the 2016 election.

Sessions, who was the first Republican senator to back Trump in the 2016 presidential election, was forced out as attorney general in November of 2018. Since then, he’s repeatedly been a public punching bag for Trump.

Tuberville will now take on Democrat Senator Doug Jones to represent Alabama in the Senate.

Loyalty or lack thereof or worse treachery has consequences.
How introspective is Jeff Sessions sessions?

Sessions biggest problem was when he attended Rod Rosensteins retirement party and was photographed glad handing and laughing with all the well known TDS Deep Staters in the room.
A picture is worth a thousand words and those pictures were worth millions of words and shouted so loud that Sessions campaign was hopeless – good thing that those pictures got out to Carolinins.

I did NOT think Sessions was going to be such a spineless coward as AG. Quite shocking, actually!!! But, if he is too much of a COWARD to stand up and Defend The Constitution/America/Americans……he should hold NO Office!!

I can’t believe Sessions actually RAN again! He was part of the problem from the start. Glad he’s gone.

Sessions is a nice guy but was way over his head as AG. The crime was not that he recused himself but ignoring/forgetting he was chosen as a loyalist to protect the president against unfounded accusations just like Eric Holder except Holder protected Obama against his crimes. Sessions stabbed Trump in the back when he recused himself after he was appointed and did not tell Trump before that he would. On top of all this there was no legal reason for him to recuse himself since no crime was committed to require it. It was this one act that led to the Mueller investigation and 3 years of hell. No wonder Trump was pissed at his former friend.
