Trump Campaign Announces Temp Checks and Masks for Rally Attendees

The Trump campaign has announced that rally attendees will be provided with masks and will have to undergo temperature checks.

According to The Hill:

Attendees at President Trump‘s rally in Oklahoma on Saturday will be given temperature checks, masks and hand sanitizer before entering the arena, the campaign said Monday, the first indication that there will be any precautions taken to limit the spread of the coronavirus.

Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale tweeted the checklist, boasting that there had been more than 1 million requests for tickets for the Tulsa rally. The BOK Center, which will host the rally, holds roughly 19,000 people.

Tickets are free and can be requested by anyone regardless of whether they intend to go to the event. But the requests serve as as a significant source of data for the campaign.

Public health experts have pointed to wearing face coverings as one of the best ways to help slow the spread of the virus. But Trump has personally chafed at the optics of wearing a mask, making it unclear how many of his supporters will actually wear one at Saturday’s event.

Newspapers around the country pushed stories about health officials raising alarms over the rally while championing protesters.

Strange, I don’t remember ANY requirements placed on the rioters — except ware a mask, bring a brick and a Molotov cocktail and be prepared to loot and burn. Pretty simple and straightforward.

It’s risky business, but if most attendees are maskless, and no spike occurs, this will deliver a strong message. But if the spike does occur, this will deliver a different message, equally strong.

As long as you are not looting or burning things the media is not okay with social gatherings.
Not a word of condemnation by then in regard to the rioters.

You can bet your bottom dollar that there will be people planted that have tested positive for the Rona. The leftist and the media have great plans made to have this rally be a big bust. Pray that Amerjcans that want to go do so, attend to support our great President. If I lived near OK, I would be there with bells on even if I watch outside. Has anyone noticed now John Bolton has all kinds of dirt about our President ready in his bomb shell book as well as Trump’s neice that is coming out with a tell all book of horrors about our President. You have to wonder how many more people are waiting in the wings the haters have lined up to try and prevent our President from being re-elected. Surely the American people are wise to these schemes that are popping up all of a sudden. Just wait, this is only the beginning.

So many Democrats will be screeching about the Rally and the danger of the virus. So much worrying about the health of Pres Trump supporters! Who knew Democrats are capable of caring for their fellow man? Goes to show you, they cared nothing absolutely nothing about the health of Floyd protesters. Not one alarm was raised about those huge, close gatherings. Thanks Dems. Oh, odd, no updates about those protesters becoming ill and SPREADING the Covid-19! The virus is selective…hmmm.

Governor JB Pritzker in Illinois won’t allow Republican gatherings of more than 10 people. But he participated in a rally of several thousand people . But that’s if you are someone he agrees with.
