Subpoena of Obama-era Officials Gain Strong Senate Backer
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has stated that he supports subpoenaing Obama-era officials implicated in spying on the Trump campaign.
According to The Hill:
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) signaled on Tuesday that he is backing efforts to subpoena Obama-era officials.
AdvertisementMcConnell, speaking from the Senate floor, referenced Senate Judiciary Committee Lindsey Graham’s (R-S.C.) announcement that he will schedule a vote for a wide-ranging subpoena on June 4.
“Senate Republicans are taking steps to issue new subpoenas to a wide variety of Obama administration officials. … The American people deserve answers about how such abuses could happen. And we intend to get those answers,” he said.
Graham announced on Monday evening that that he would have the committee vote on the subpoena as part of an investigation into the court established by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) and “Crossfire Hurricane,” the name for the FBI’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election.
Graham’s subpoena would also cover current admin officials, particularly Attorney General Barr and FBI Director Christopher Wray.

Graham really has no choice but to go forward with this action against Obummer era Officials AND Obummer himself, IF he wants to have a job after the next election ! The American people will DEMAND that he leave Office if he doesn’t !
I for one don’t care how far up the Food Chain you have to go, a criminal is a criminal no matter their station in life. Cowboy up, grow a pair of cajones, whatever it takes man up and do the right thing.
They should subpoena Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, Sam Powers, Susan Rice, both of the Ohr’s, Rod Rosenstein??
