Trump Looks to Ban Green Cards for 60 Days

President Trump is looking to ban green cards for 60 days in an effort to protect the country from the virus and to protect American workers who are facing record unemployment.

According to The Hill:

President Trump is seizing on the coronavirus pandemic to engineer an immigration ban that he’s sought for years, framing it as a step to protect domestic jobs and public health amid waves of new unemployment claims.

Trump tweeted Tuesday night that he plans to sign an executive order soon that would suspend immigration to the U.S. to protect American jobs and safeguard the country from the “Invisible Enemy” of the coronavirus. Twenty-two million people have filed for unemployment over the last few weeks.

After suggesting it would be a sweeping ban on new arrivals, Trump walked back the scope of the policy on Tuesday evening. He clarified it would halt the issuance of most green cards, but allow temporary workers to enter the country — a concession to agriculture and other business interests that rely on those seasonal employees.

Trump also said the policies would be reviewed by a group of officials in 60 days.

Democrats are using this to get back at the Republicans who framed their stalling of aid as a slap in the face to the American worker and small businesses. It remains unclear how sticking up for illegals over Americans will work out for Democrats in the long run

A lot of those temporary job losses will become permanent when most small businesses fold or go bankrupt. We need jobs now to feed our families. Close the border with Mexico permanently and transfer all production back to the U.S. I’m sick of looking at annual reports and seeing companies are making 60% gross profit margin while laying off American workers and either automating production or moving work over to Mexico, China or worse – and in the meantime keeping prices steady when we know they can afford to reduce prices for the hard working and underemployed American consumers. Time to act is now!

Excellent move… Thank you very much MR. President. Please re-enact chinese Exclusion Law of 1882. The very idea that we need more workforce is a pure myth created by demonrats and crooked business “leaders” that are looking for any way of stealing money from America. The Y2K scam brought here a huge number of fake “programmers” from asian countries. They damaged our software industry and promoted moving software and engineering business outside of the USA. The alleged “economy” is fake… the only “economy” was for the owners of companies that avoided paying taxes to the USA in exchange for giving out our technology to our enemies

The only way to stop all of this is to vote President Trump another term, and do not vote for any Demon-crat running for office or support the anti-American mooslims in the house now. It just goes to show how sick a lot of Americans are voting in these slugs in the first place.

Well, not really.
Most are still going to be coming on in.
Very few are affected.
