Trump and Pence Fly to Dover Following Rally to Pay Respects to Fallen Soldiers

President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence flew unannounced to Dover Air Force Base, following the rally in New Hampshire, to pay respects to two fallen US Soldiers.

According to The Daily Wire:

After a raucous campaign rally in New Hampshire, President Trump on Monday took an unannounced trip to Dover Air Force Base to take part in a somber “dignified transfer ceremony” for two 28-year-old soldiers killed in Afghanistan.

After a brief prayer inside a C-17 transport plane, the president and Vice President Mike Pence stood at attention in a light rain as two U.S. flag-draped transfer cases were carried down the plane’s ramp by six members of the military wearing white gloves. The cases contained the remains of Sgt. 1st Class Antonio R. Rodriguez, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, and Sgt. 1st Class Javier J. Gutierrez, of San Antonio, Texas, who both died Saturday in a firefight in Nangarhar Province.

Also attending the ceremony were people traveling with the president, including daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner, National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz.

Also in attendance were James C. McConville, Chief of Staff of the Army, SGM Michael Grinston, Sergeant Major of the Army, Maj. Gen. John Brennan, 1st Special Forces Group Commander, CSM Tomas Sandoval, Command Sergeant Major, 1st Special Forces Group, and Col. Matthew Jones, 436th Airlift Wing Commander, among others.

The White House stated that this was the first time that both the President and Vice President have attended a dignified transfer together since 2009.

Our Nation’s Commander and Chief proves he is the real leader which our country has needed for many years.
I don’t care if he is considered rough and vulgar but who at times isn’t, the most important thing is he gets the job done, his promises to us are being fulfilled and President Trump loves the people no matter what creed or color, rich or poor, this is how he is.

I continue to be grateful for our President. He never fails to astound me with all that he does, daily, for ALL THE PEOPLE of our great country. I did not vote for a choir boy, I voted for a man who has the fortitude to fight the good fight…and WIN!

Difficult to believe that the majority of soldiers have a negative opinion of Trump. He is the most pro soldier/veteran president we have had in decades.

Most of the soldiers are FOR Trump. The ones that are not are the LGBTQP because President Trump refuses to have the military pay for their transition

Where in the hell did you get that bullshit, Cheryl? From the Fake News.

I do not know one single active duty or veteran that do not think the Prez is the best thing since sliced bread,,,,,,,And I know a lot,

Even quite a few Korea vets at the VFW that were hard core Democrats right up to the election of the royal exalted boma. Now they all wear MAGA hats all the time and be ready to defend yourself if you crack smart about them. .

not completely true, I have a neighbor, (black) and a army veteran (white) who are soooo pro democrat that they don’t see what Trump has done for this Country… I am disappointed in both of them, but both of them are trying to get as much freebees from the Government as they can, even though both are able to work, but don’t. I am a disabled USMC Veteran 43 surgeries, and Above Knee Amputee, even left work on a stretcher, and was back at work the next Monday, after heart surgery. I would work if I was able tooooo. It’s amazing how so many want something for nothing, NOTHING IS FREE, our tax dollars pay for the slackers

Every time you turn around our PRESIDENT proves that he is most definitely the man for the job. GOD put him there and ANYONE who attempts to “hurt” him in any manner is going to have a terrible price to pay. We can see what the Demoncrats are attempting to do to our country and if we allow them to succeed in the 2020 elections we will have “HELL” to pay
AMERICANS it is time to get off our butts and do whatever we can to assist in the upcoming elections to defeat SATAN and the Demoncratic party. We all can do something – If we can afford to we can assist financially – or if nothing else we can PRAY for the outcome – either way we are doing the best that we can to show GOD that we appreciate what HE is doing for us.

This is only ONE of many reasons ‘why we love our President!’ If he didn’t care he wouldn’t bother to see to it they get ALL NEW equipment, and Veterans receive ALL the medical treatment they deserve.
