Trump Gets Over a Billion Dollars for Border Wall
The Democrats have caved and allowed President Trump’s border wall to receive over a billion dollars in funding in the new spending bill.
According to The Daily Mail:
Democrats gave Donald Trump $1.375 billion for his border wall in a spending deal announced Monday that will keep the government from shutting down at the end of this week.
The amount is much less than the $8.6 billion the president requested to build his nearly 2,000 mile wall along the U.S.-Mexico border: $5 billion to build new barriers and $3.6 billion to backfill the money shifted from military construction projects last year.
‘I’m pleased that we have reached a bipartisan agreement that will keep government open, provide the certainty of full-year funding, and make strong investments in key priorities for American communities,’ said Rep. Nita Lowey, the Democratic chairwoman of the House Appropriations Committee.
A fight over funding Trump’s controversial wall – the biggest promise of his 2016 presidential campaign – was avoided by leaving it as status quo: the $1.375 billion is the same level of funding the president got for his wall in last year’s government spending bill, an amount that was agreed to after the longest government shutdown in U.S. history.

I agree, Ed and Arjay: It is OUR wall…we the people are contributing to “We Build the Wall” and the company working on it is doing great…and for less money than the usual government contractors can do it. This is an act of love…protecting our country from gangs, drugs, terrorists, and the cartels who send poor people here and dump them. We appreciate those who are also funding “Tunnels to Towers” in the same vein, but we must have more money for the wall to protect those already here. We can do more than sit on our hands like the leftists do, that’s for sure!!!

Well…wasn’t that just great! It’s about time. However, Mr. President, there was a catch to this. IMO, they held off this money to create more issues for our nation, unfortunately. And I surely hope you’re aware of what is really going on behind the scenes.
In a horrible reality the Dem’s have created, while you were distracted, was to fill 9 States, thus far, with ISLAMIST COMPOUNDS. Those States are: CALIFORNIA, GEORGIA, OREGON, TEXAS, SOUTH CAROLINA, MICHIGAN, NEW YORK, TENNESSEE, AND VIRGINIA .
Also, even though the google king has made it disappear, there’s an ISIS church in about the middle of Michigan. Our borders need to be shut down, without announcements, sir. This issue, to Americans IS a National Emergency.
These are very dangerous times, and I believe that MUCH of this impeachment debacle was a total distraction, while the ISIS members were flooding in from the Borders around the U.S.
And now that New York is giving out a Drivers License to all those Illegals without one, only God Knows what’s going to happen.
