GOP Warning Trump About Nominating Comey Ally to Lead DEA
Top members of the Republican party are warning President Trump about nominating a James Comey ally to head the Drug Enforcement Administration.
According to The Daily Wire:
Top allies of President Donald Trump are warning him against nominating Uttam Dhillon — an apparent ally of disgraced former FBI Director James Comey — to be the Administrator of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
AdvertisementThe warning from Trump’s allies come after Trump briefly recognized Dhillon — the current Acting Administrator of the DEA — at the International Association of Chiefs of Police Annual Conference and Exposition in Chicago, Illinois, on Monday.
“Soon, Uttam will not be ‘Acting,’ by the way,” Trump said. “He’s done a great job. So he doesn’t know this yet, but soon you will not be ‘Acting.’ Congratulations.”
Shortly after Trump made his comments, numerous top allies of the president expressed concern over Dhillon’s apparent nomination to a permanent role at the DEA’s top spot.
It remains unclear if President Trump will head the advice of the GOP but it is odd that he is considering a Comey ally amid his impeachment inquiry.

If I were the President I would NOT nominate Uttam Dhillon…no, no, no! Anyone who has had anything to do with Comey is absolute Bad News.
If I were in the President’s place, I would look for a man, or woman, who is former military, higher in rank, who is aligned with the President on all his policies.
That’s the best advice I could give. I believe that the Cooperating Generals, or Lieutenant Generals would be better choices. NEVER TRUST ANYONE AFFILIATED WITH ANY OF THE 3 LETTER AGENCIES…NEVER! Be certain that anyone he chooses ALIGNS with the Trump Agenda, or toss them aside.
