Joe Scarborough Slams Nats Fans for Trump Treatment

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough is not a huge fan of President Trump.

Scarborough is still scolding Washington Nationals fans who booed and chanted at President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump who were in attendance at the World Series game hours after a Trump authorized raid killed the world’s most wanted terrorist.

According to The Hill:

MSNBC “Morning Joe” co-host Joe Scarborough said it was “un-American” for the crowd to chant “lock him up” at President Trump when he was shown at Nationals Park during Game 5 of the World Series on Sunday night in Washington, D.C.

“It’s un-American,” Scarborough said Monday morning of the chant, which originated as a chant against Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. “It started with Donald Trump. In fact, he’s made it a centerpiece of his campaign rallies.”

Co-host Mika Brzezinski interjected that she finds it “sickening” when Trump supporters use the chant “lock her up.”

“Of course it’s sickening,” Scarborough agreed. “We are Americans and we do not do that. We do not want the world hearing us chant ‘lock him up’ to this president or to any president.”

Scarborough did say that he hopes Trump supporters learn from this and chose not to chant things like this at Trump’s political opponents.
