White House Announces Troop Withdrawal From Syria

The White House has announced troop withdrawal from Syria in another fulfillment of a campaign promise by President Trump.
According to The Daily Wire:
The Trump Administration announced a major change to military operations in Syria Sunday night, saying in a statement posted to social media that American troops will begin a withdrawl from the Syrian border to make way for a Turkish incursion into the region.
AdvertisementThe withdrawl, the White House, says, will be of a limited scale. A large-scale withdrawl is still on the table, but the United States remains in a “wait-and-see” position, a source with knowledge of the situation told NBC News.
“Turkey will soon be moving forward with its long-planned operation in Northern Syria,” the White House statement read. “The United States Armed Force will not support or be involved in the operation, and United States forces, having defeated the ISIS territorial ‘Caliphate,’ will no longer be in the immediate area.”

…
President Trump claimed Monday on Twitter that he would “destroy the economy of Turkey” if harm came to the Syrian Kurds or if Turkey overstepped the boundaries of the incursion plan as it was outlined in his phone call with Erdogan.
….the captured ISIS fighters and families. The U.S. has done far more than anyone could have ever expected, including the capture of 100% of the ISIS Caliphate. It is time now for others in the region, some of great wealth, to protect their own territory. THE USA IS GREAT!

Many on the Republican side have criticized this move by President Trump, but he continues to move forward in accomplishing his foreign policy objectives.
What about the Kurds?
A promise is a promise. Thank you Mr. President for keeping your promises.
I don’t understand the entire military operation in Syria, so what the President does is his right. I hear some generals boo hooing and of course the journalist hate it that he is completing another Campaign promise. MAGA
I’m worried about the Christian Kurds. What’s to become of them?
What truly bothered me was that Lindsey Graham stated on FOX News, that our Soldiers were Crying…because they didn’t want to leave. Why would our military Cry when leaving from overseas? This to me doesn’t make any sense.
We know what the Kurds are like. I’m not understanding that Statement from Lindsey…as it has to be more than these guys are appearing like wimps? I’ve never, ever heard of any soldier crying, unless they left a woman behind, who they wanted to bring home, because they had a relationship. But I guess there’s a first for everything. It just doesn’t make sense to me. Maybe Lindsey can clarify this with an explanation. IMO…We do need to bring these guys home. If what Graham says is true, there could be one of two things. One, that our soldiers have grown soft, or two, they’ve been there too long, and are starting to feel way to sympathetic. There’s no place for that. Orders are orders, Period.
