Vice President Mike Pence has issued a strong warning to Iran as tensions in the Middle-East continue to escalate.
According to The Daily Wire:
Vice President Mike Pence addressed the recent aggression from Iran, echoing President Donald Trump’s assertion that the administration doesn’t “want war with anybody,” but assuring that the “United States is prepared” for the worst.
Speaking to the Heritage Foundation on Tuesday on the United States trade deal with Mexico and Canada, Pence took a few moments to address the growing boldness of Iran in the Middle East.
“We’re locked and loaded,” he said. “And we’re ready to defend our interests and our allies in the region. Make no mistake about it.”
Citing the recent drone attacks on Saudi Arabia, Pence explained that if the Iranians were behind the attack that it “would just be the latest in a series of increasingly dangerous escalations instigated by the Islamic Republic.”
Pence went on to slam Iran, calling them the biggest state sponsor of terror in the Middle East.
