Trump Announces Increased Iranian Sanctions
President Trump has responded to intensified Iranian aggression by promising to increase sanctions on the country.
According to The Hill:
President Trump on Wednesday said that he has instructed Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin to “substantially” increase economic sanctions on Iran.
AdvertisementTrump’s announcement comes after Trump administration officials have blamed Iran for drone attacks on two Saudi oil sites over the weekend, though the president himself has not yet definitely pinned the blame on Tehran for them.
“I have just instructed the Secretary of the Treasury to substantially increase Sanctions on the country of Iran!” the president, who is on a fundraising tour through California, tweeted, without specifically mentioning the attacks.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for clarification on whether the president had announced the sanctions in response to the attacks.

I agree with Backgammon. The left was trying to push President Trump into doing something rash and he didn’t listen to them. I would call him Extremely Smart for NOT listening to the Demoncraps. I wish someone could put a muzzle on the whole bunch of them.
If anyone was actually paying attention and watching the President, he told the media, while the Gentleman from Australia was in the White House, that he was increasing the sanctions on Iran. Steve Mnuchin was also there, and explained just how the U.S. Sanctions would work.
