Former Ohio Governor John Kasich has announced that there is no path for him in challenging Trump in the 2020 GOP primary. Fox News reports:
Is former Ohio Gov. John Kasich starting to close the door when it comes to a possible GOP primary challenge against President Trump?
“I don’t see a way to get there,” the former two-term governor turned senior CNN political commentator said Friday in an appearance on the cable news network.
“Right now, there’s no path,” he added, pointing the Trump’s strong support for re-election among Republican voters.
But a top Kasich political adviser told Fox News “nothing has changed.”
Kasich has long challenged President Trump, but as the Democrats radicalize and conservatives are firmly united behind President Trump, he knows his political chances are over.

I was born in Ohio, and Kasich was a good man, but never President quality, just as McCain and Romney proved to not up to what it took. He is and was smart enough to realize that, so I will not degrade him. I do my own research, and polls or EXPERTS have never changed my vote. Born in 1929, I learned about FDR on Ohio farm at age 10, but learned more about him, later. No one is perfect, but also no one has ever been President of USA, before first election. And the word of those who never were, do not convince me of what president should be. Have a good day, and Donald will have less problems campaigning . Lot of folks are working, and better off then they were in prior administration.
