Wall Construction Begins
Border wall construction has started with funding from the previous fiscal year. Fox News reports:
MISSION, Texas — Heavy machinery has started to roll in near the National Butterfly Center, which straddles the Mexican border. Customs and Border Protection has positioned vehicles here. And construction workers and architects have started plotting out their work for the next few months, and possibly years.
As the nation’s capital grapples over how to fund the controversial border wall, construction of a new one in the Rio Grande Valley is set to begin in the next few days.
Bentsen, a top national destination for bird watching, is located down the road from the bird center and will see one of two Rio Grande Valley border wall projects run through its property. Both plans were funded by last year’s congressional appropriations. Congress green-lighted more than $600 million for 33 miles of wall in the area.
Environmentalists are not happy.
This will show the American people the importance of strategic barriers to stop illegal migration and drugs.

We have walls on lots of highways to prevent “migration” of vehicular noise to residential areas. I am not impacted by this but my taxes still pay for the walls. So where is the uproar about these high concrete walls?
Would you rather we keep spending tax dollars on Illegals coming into this country? This wall that is going to be build is already paid for by dollars saved on illegal immigration now and in the future.
For each illegal the state pays food, housing, medical asistence , lawyers for immigrants, judges for immigrants, transport from the border to the places of accommodation, security , transport back to the country of origin ….. for one person the amount exceeds many times dozens thousands of dollars ! Calculate how much is spent every year when 1 million illegal immigrants cross the border !
Come on birds can fly over the fence or wall or since it is made with steel slats the birds can be watched through the open areas in the slats. Its the Spanish speaking birds we need to stop !

There is something wrong with our government who donates wall funding for foreign countries but not for its own. Why is that we’re so concerned with protecting countries around the world from ISIS and threats of Islam by the trillions and yet cry and pout like little children when it comes to protecting the very citizens that pay for the protection of foreign countries? There is a map you can Google that shows exactly what countries your tax dollars go to. Some receive 4+ billion annually, and yes they are countries who hate us, and yes we give China foreign aid, but what’s crazy is we turn around and borrow that money back plus interest and we don’t get a dime for the aid we give. Use the money from El Chapo to fund the border wall and get it built, and the Democrats don’t have to fund one cent of it with NO national Emergency or shutdown over it! Just sign a new spending bill and forget about another shutdown!!
What I have suggested for a long time now:- $ 5.7 billion is pocket changer them …remember Pablo Escobar going back to the Colombian Medellin cartel ?;- and the US Treasury would be well served to bring back the remainder of El Chapo’s unaccounted for US dollars we could use to retire a nice large portion of the US debt! We don’t have to chase him and finds himself in custody in a US prison! The timing could not be better to take action now!

Build the wall with Elchapo’s money. There’s got to be a lot of talented construction workers in the group of military that Trump just brought back from Syria that would be very willing to be building a wall instead of getting shot at by ISIS.
Then put ID ankle bracelets on all illegals caught coming in illegally, put them by the thousands in sanctuary cities – Sacramento, San Francisco, Los Angeles(?), Austin Texas, and any other sanctuary city however violent they may be, and inform them that if they leave the city limits that they will be immediately deported. Of course – with NO federal aid.

The wall must be built so as its construction to be so that its demolition, when the democrats will have the power, to be as costly as its construction.
