President Trump Makes Huge Announcement

President Trump has agreed to pay federal workers, giving Congress another 30 days to figure out a solution to the border wall without holding federal workers hostage. Fox News reports:

President Trump said Friday that he will support a short-term spending bill to re-open the government, temporarily ending the partial government shutdown that has dragged on for more than a month — despite a day earlier saying Republicans would not “cave” on his demands for funding for a wall on the southern border.

“I am very proud to announce we have reached a deal to end the shutdown and reopen the federal government,” he said to applause from gathered Cabinet members.

He said the deal would keep the government open for three weeks until Feb. 15 and that a bill would go before the Senate immediately. He made reference to his previous threats to declare a national emergency, calling it a “very powerful weapon,” but saying he didn’t want to use it. The deal appeared to include no money for a wall or steel barrier, but he said he hoped negotiations would continue to come to an agreement on wall funding.

“Walls should not be controversial,” he said.

While the shutdown has ended, it will force both sides to come to an agreement over border security.

BIG MISTAKE, Mr. President! Piglosi, Schumer, and the Dumbascraps fear strength, not weakness. They will continue to attempt to destroy you and your administration, with no remorse…

get rid of schumer and pelosi and then talk, but until then your are wasting your time MR.PRESIDENT, they care little about the WE THE PEOPLE, only them sleves, and to under mine you, this is all a ploy to get their SORRY ASSES in the WHITE HOUSE without a election. pelosi and schumer needs to be forced to resign, for the good of the country, I hope their corruption is enough to warrant them out of office without an election. These bad people need to be locked up. They are very mentally challenged

President Trump does not “negotiate” like a politician. He “Deals” like a Business Man. In this, he’s shown compassion for the workers, AND that he’s not EGO driven (like the DemonRats). He WILL get the “wall” or some impenetratable barrier. (Watch, after the STEEL ramparts are completed, Shoomie and Piglosi will claim VICTORY because it’s not a concrete monolith from San Diego to Harlingen.) He’s giving them all the rope they will need to hang themselves in 2020. God Bless America! God Save President Trump!, and Thank God FOR him.

President Trump, please don’t play into the hands of the Democratic Communist Party. Don’t let a witch like Pelosi and a weasel like Schumer hold you hostage to what you believe in. You are backed up by an overwhelming majority of the American people when you say you are going to build a wall to keep the American people safe. The people love what you are doing for America and no amount of Democratic Communist Party propaganda will change how they feel. The hell with all those Commies across the isle, they are losers and your are a winner. Sincerely, M. Korab

I’m afraid Pelosi and Schumer will see this as giving up on the wall. They’ll take the money and the time and do nothing except proclaim their victory over Trump. I’m also afraid this will cost him reelection.

Although I still support you I think you just handle your and our enemies our country . Lindsay Graham’s signature is all over another 3 wasted weeks . You can’t shake hands with the devil and they just conned you into doing just that . Graham was and is still not your ally . He worked against you for 2 years and for 8 life no miserable years against us . He is for DACA and amnesty. . And he also is trying to con you into gun control . Amnesty and gun confiscation are two things even I will stop supporting you over . Stop listening to your enemies and listen to the people who have been standing behind you . You have now made us the nightly fodder for the communist news .

Mr. President:
Declaring a national emergency is a powerful weapon, only if it’s utilized. The Democrats cannot be trusted to deal in good faith, they have no good faith to deal. Obviously, due to the dictatorial old woman from San Francisco, who never saw a day in her life without Daddy or Hubbie paying all the bills, she can sit a helluva lot longer and gamble with workers’ paychecks a helluva lot longer than the responsible President can. If there was anything in the law that would charge her with obstruction of the dependent people whose lives are entrusted to this government, a federal police detail would arrest her and perpetrator walk her to a holding cell for her dereliction of duty to federal employees. There has to be some count that she has busted, the second official in charge of House was for dealing. She, on the other hand, made this issue personal against you. That is not protecting the American people in any way! She has a vendetta against you and is holding 325+ million American souls hostage via her vendetta to demonstrate her personal power over government.

Hogwash. She is not the one who shut down government. And she is not holding anyone hostage or pulling a power play. That would be trump, who has dug in his heels over this wall because of the many repetitions of Build The Wall that encouraged his base to believe it was for protection, for security, though thorough analyses of these and other Wall issues have yet to be undertaken.

But this is NOT a national emergency. Are the countries to our south sending their heavily armed militaries across that border to take over the US? No? So what’s the emergency? A bunch of poor brown-skinned Spanish-speaking people?

Walls are controversial when they appear to be misplaced and based on bigotry and ignorance. The US/Mexico border makes up less than 10% of our total borders (excluding US Territories). Why that particular border? Have the terrorists who have attacked the US originated in the countries to our south? (no, most terrorists in the US originated in Saudi Arabia and other Middle-Eastern countries, and the rest were homegrown right here in the US). Are the governments of countries to our south threatening us with military takeover? (no, they are our allies). Is there a good reason to focus on that particular border? Or is the answer that a) Latinos are particularly visible as a brown-skinned Spanish-speaking minority against which we have traditionally discriminated, b) many are concerned that they are likely to commit serious crimes in the US, following the “logic” that those who enter the US without authorization are already criminals (“Unauthorized Entry” is a misdemeanor, with a penalty of up to six months detention and/or a fine, and hardly the type of “crime” that acts as a gateway to violent crime), or the alternate “logic” that some are drug dealers, gang members, and/or have violent histories (Yes, SOME are, and we have enough of our own already, which is exactly why we must have adequate trained personnel with resources to investigate all potential entrants to the US), and c) concerns about the effect on our economy of immigrants from the South (these include the incorrect assumption that most if not all plan on unauthorized entry as they only want “freebies” and we will all have to shoulder a huge bill to support them; in truth, most want to enter the US with legal status such as a visa or Asylum, and often have the goal of eventual citizenship, but since the US tends to treat them all as unauthorized until proven otherwise, with armed military, razor wire, tear gas, family separations, and other strong deterrents, we are effectively discouraging legal authorized immigration at least as much as unauthorized entry, and, even most of those who are unauthorized entrants work, albeit under the table, and even they spend more in the US and pay taxes e.g. sales, fuel, and property taxes (generally via the property owner), and many of them start small businesses and employ others, who similarly make purchases and pay taxes) ). The majority of US residents with Latino backgrounds are citizens, at least 2nd generation, though they are often discriminated against in all areas of US life.

There is no “security” reason to put a wall on THAT PARTICULAR border

The only reasons I know of (and which I consider invalid) for a wall on THAT PARTICULAR border are 1) discrimination against brown-skinned Spanish-speaking people and 2) economic concerns.

So, if the goal is security, then how about walling off Canada? Or the Atlantic? or Pacific? Or perhaps the Arctic seacoast? Or a wall around Hawaii? Are any of those borders particularly problematic? NO?

So why a Wall? I’ve read suggestions that it would be a trump monument – attesting to a “terrific win”, perhaps his biggest accomplishment, visible from space. However as such it would be an long-lasting eyesore, blocking scenic vistas, blocking the migration routes of wildlife, blocking flood waters from going back into the Rio Grande. AND, much of the property on which this would be built is private property – have an concerns gone into the costs – financial and otherwise – of acquiring this property, breaking up the ranches and other land held for generations in the same families? Environmental costs?

So back to the statement: “walls should not be controversial,” No, perhaps walls with solid rationale, solid investigation into all the costs/benefits, and a solid likelihood of success (which I don’t think has been defined here), should not be controversial. But a wall in THIS location, claiming to be for security, with little if any rationale or evidence and little if any analysis into its effects, is controversial.

I have faith in OUR President, and I’m sure he has a plan that will allow the two sh*t birds make fools of them selves again. Have faith people, lets see what Nanna does. Will she keep her promise and let the SOTU happen ? Or will she insist on more because he is letting her think she won something. My money’s on her continuing to be a B-itch and showing the world her stupidity, and our President Trump playing her and Schmucky like a violin.

The demoncrats promised to fight everything our president tries to do and all of his appointments for the full four years while he is in office. This is the only promise which they have kept. In order to destroy a person all hilllary’s long standing attorney, mueller, has to do is accuse someone of an outright LIE and then he can financially destroy them. General Flynn, Jerome Corsi and Roger Stone have committed no crimes but if mueller LIES and says that they committed a crime, he can financially destroy them in the courts. Of course, the destruction of an innocent men using the obama/hillary federal courts is just the first step toward the impeachment of our elected president which is the primary goal of the demoncrats. The demoncrats will never end their destruction of everyone around President Trump until they are able to remove our president from office or else find a patsy to murder him. The only way President Trump can save himself and our country is to release all of the information regarding the assassination of President Kennedy, the 9/11 inside job, Benghazi, all of the school false flag shootings and the witch hunt to give credibility to the the demoncrats LIE that there was Russian collusion in the presidential election which was merely a diversion away from the CONTENTS of the hillary/podesta emails which were enough to imprison both of them for the rest of their lives. All of the information and names of the guilty parties should be released immediately DIRECTLY to the American people so that they will know how corrupt and evil our shadow government actually has been and still is.

PREPARE IMMEDIATELY the EMERGENCY actions VITAL to stopping the CRISIS caused by the INVASION of the illegals STILL MASSING and ON THEIR WAY to our southern border, forming a NEW MASSIVE CARAVAN INVASION AS WE SPEAK. Get the orders ready NOW to institute this action so that on February 15, 2019 it will be ready to go!!! If there is a way to keep it out of the 9th Circuit Court, do so. Rush it through the courts as quickly as possible, and BEGIN BUILDING THE STEEL BARRIER ALONG THE SOUTHERN BORDER ASAP!!! POTUS ALREADY HAS THE AUTHORITY TO DO SO, ACCORDING TO PREVIOUS SCOTUS DECISIONS!!! Use as much of the military funds as possible for the actual construction of the barrier (beyond the $5.7 billion) to minimize future fights with the now far-left Democrats. I can’t believe Americans are so ill-informed as to vote for any Democrat, but unfortunately it is so. THIS IS CRITICAL FOR PROTECTION OF AMERICA!!!
