The Democrat Shutdown Just Got Worse
Democrats voted against a bill that would have reopened the government, plunging the government into a longer shutdown that could have federal workers miss a second paycheck. Fox News reports:
Furloughed federal workers are bracing to miss their second paycheck and employee unions are warning of increasingly dire consequences since the partial government shutdown began last month, as officials signal the stalemate in Washington has no end in sight.
The government partially shut down in December after Congress failed to pass a spending package funding parts of the government, forcing some federal workers to be furloughed or work without pay. President Trump is demanding $5.7 billion for a barrier on the southern border with Mexico as part of a spending deal, something Democratic leaders are rejecting outright.
Those whose jobs are affected by the shutdown are now speaking out more forcefully about the impact on their own lives but also safety issues for the broader public.
“This is already the longest government shutdown in the history of the United States and there is no end in sight,” said a joint statement released Wednesday by leaders of three associations representing air traffic controllers, airline pilots and flight attendants.
Democrats’ refusal to fund the government and border security will continue to plague the nation until a deal is reached.

Unfortunately, a civil manner doesn’t work in these days. We are now in the days of evil. As John Adams stated back in the 1790’s: “Because we have no government, armed with power, capable with contending with human passions, unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge and licentiousness would break the strongest cords of our Constitution, as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” The Democrats (and too many Republicans) are not just and moral people and they aren’t even trying to be so. My yardstick for just and moral is the one true God’s Holy Word (the Bible).
We may need to push back at some point sadly. We have Article VI in the US Constitution, and the Democrats have essentially violated every right within the Bill of Rights: this gives us constitutional authority to defund and disbar any official who supports unconstitutional laws and regulations. We need to get the POTUS, State Governors, and Supreme Court to enforce Article VI, it’s as simple as that.
Big media have thoroughly indoctrinated our young voters. They now believe the myth that socialism creates justice and prosperity. Consequently, Soros lackeys like Pelosi, Schumer and Waters have no trouble being reelected. President Trump intends to win this little squabble and we can stand with him or watch our constitutional republic decay from within and vanish.
The democratic senators have no balls to stand up against Pelosi’s and crying Schumer’s demands. Their grand kids will probably be working for an illegal alien some day if their demands are met. Nothing more than Socialism ahead for America. Everyone needs to stop them and let the President do his job. Keep America American and not overrun by illegals…..build the wall.
I am standing behind President Trump. He is trying to protect Americans were Pelosi is trying to bring President Trump down. Well he is a President of the people and for the people, and I like to see a Democrat say the same thing with a straight face.
I think Pelosi needs to be checked out by the Amendment 25 to see if she is mentally stable to be the house leader. After all she has stage 6 dementia.!!! Oh my these poor Government leaches are going to miss another pay check, what a shame. I’m going to cry. Maybe this will give them a taste of what REAL America has to go through, poor things. Get a job in a gas station or 7/11 to tide you over. There’s a way to get rid of a lot of these Non Essential Personnel permanently after 30 days, I hope President Trump uses it. Particularly the IRS, I really feel for them Bast*rds.

Since the shutdown has gone on for over 30 days President Trump can Drain the Swamp, and i think he needs to start. the ones that don’t do their jobs efficiently need to go, We can cut spending in that way. It has to be done while he can do it. The Demonrats are just plain EVIL, I’m sure President Kennedy is rolling over in his grave. God Bless President Trump for all he has put into this effort because it has been a nightmare.

The continuing slowdown may be a blessing in disguise in a way. While it is causing a big inconvenience to many who are not getting paid, it may lead to some leaving their government job for one in the private sector. It would be an opportunity to not refill those (government) jobs, of which there are far too many.
I think it is high time For President Trump to declare a National crisis and declare Marshall law. 1 fix the border 2. have Military pick up the corrupted democrats and give them a new home in Gitmo and include any pelosi republicans who are working for our destruction and use the military where ever necessary to stop civil desobedience . Our president will have the IRA ,The veterans and many voters to back him up . America needs to be put back on an even keel .
‘This is not a ‘Democrat Shutdown’. It is a Trump and Republican Shutdown. Trump shut the Government down and said he would take credit for it. It is a Republican Shutdown because the Senate Republicans would not vote for the same bill they passed unanimously in Dec. to fund the Government. So now you are trying to blame Democrats for what Trump and the Republicans do, right?
By the way, the Republican House in Dec would not vote on the Senate Bill either.
And it was Trump who had agreed to the Dec Senate bill until Anne Coulter made him change his mind. So blame her as well.
And the Bills Nancy has passed gave Trump exactly what his 2019 Budget requested and that was 1.6B.
For Nancy and Cheesey Chucky it all about political power and bringing the President down. They don’t care about American citizens or even the government workers. We cant depend on any thing they say about discussions after the government is reopened. They have made it clear that they are never going to support anything that truly protects our boarder.
I is sad that Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are more concerned with petty politics than the good of America. Her district in California should ask for her removal in order to reset her priorities to do what is good for all American citizens. Chuck and Nancy should do their jobs and not play politics. Shame on them.
When Trump doesn’t get his way, he shuts down the government. Because the public rightly blames him for the harm created by his shutdown, he has relented at least for the time being. Trump needs to learn to negotiate without his usual threats of harm which often hurt innocent third parties.
