Judge Orders Secret Documents From Mueller
Judge Emmet Sullivan has ordered Robert Mueller to produce documents from the Michael Flynn interview. The Daily Wire reports:
In a new twist, a U.S. District Court judge has ordered special counsel Robert Mueller to hand over all secret documents related to the questioning of former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.
Flynn’s legal team claims the Federal Bureau of Investigation urged the retired United States Army lieutenant general not to bring a lawyer to an interview with agents at the White House in January 2017. Flynn has since pleaded guilty to one count of lying to prosecutors and is scheduled to be sentenced on Tuesday.
AdvertisementU.S. District Judge Emmet G. Sullivan on Wednesday ordered Mueller to turn over all documents and “memoranda” related to Flynn’s questioning by 3 p.m. Friday. Sullivan is the same judge who overturned a 2008 conviction of former Sen. Ted Stevens after government misconduct was revealed.
Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe set up the White House interview with Flynn, suggesting he not have a lawyer present. “I explained that I thought the quickest way to get this done was to have a conversation between [Flynn] and the agents only,” McCabe wrote, according to newly filed court documents.
It isn’t immediately clear why Flynn was questioned by the FBI without a lawyer present, but it certainly throws more doubt over now fired Andrew McCabe.

To Vicky. You are so right. This whole Witch Hunt was set off by Bennet at CIA, due to his prejudice, bias, and beliefs. Study his resume and bio, and you will know why. But he corrupted the Intelligence Agencies, and found those in FBI channels with like thoughts, and it expanded from there. (I had written similar, but there was error, so do not know where that went). This was so unnecessary, since DOJ has 73 Inspector Generals assigned within the Executive Branch, with same security clearance as the Director or Secretary, and is supposed to ensure those people do jobs properly. We do not need Special Council, with too much power. (Similar to KGB, or Gestapo) if you get my meaning. Could convict a cucumber sandwich, with statement of “lying to federal officials”)
Harrison, There is nothing wrong with our Justice System when it is operated as Constitution set up the three branches of government. Executive, Legislative, and Supreme Court. There is no logical reason to have SPECIAL COUNCILS. Within the Executive Branch, the FBI, CIA, DIA, OSI, and others all operate under the Dept. of Justice. And DOJ should be 100% working for USA, not recusing himself from part. There are 73 Inspector Generals, with staff of hundreds, within the Executive Branch Offices, with same security clearance and authority, as the Directors. They should be seeing every document, or correspondence that flows into, or out of those offices. Hillary should never have been able to use personal server (being hacked, with all information being copied by foreign governments), and we would not have had Mueller, or his hand picked , Hillary support lawyers. That was 2 years of wasted effort, lies, and not-needed drag on our country and Constitution. Should never, ever, happen again. And FBI along with the Intelligence Services, need close supervision, and ensure we never let people like Mueller, and Comey get that much power again. Oversight by Congress is absolutely needed. Our forefathers, knew this could happen, but discussed it in papers. They expected the normal egos, of three legs of government (EQUAL) to keep separation and honesty between them, and to work FOR THE PEOPLE.
Frank — in a perfect world maybe — but the heads of these agencies cannot be so corrupt that it spreads throughout our whole government.
I guess the FBI has been reading the Official Handbook of the KGB, especially the chapter on how to intimidate American Citizens and ignore their rights under the law

I’m tired of my taxes paying for something I don’t approve of ! Muller is a leech and is out for the money the longer he drags this on the more money he makes! We have a Attorney General who should be able to fire him. He already knows Trump didn’t

I pray this judge sees the injustice of what Mueller did and makes him pay back the house Michael Flynn had to sell to pay for his defense. Would serve Mueller right.

Time to get rid of the whole shebang. Congress created the FBI, not the other way around. Now they won’t show up to congressional hearings and won’t turn in documents requested by Congress. They are too big for their britches and Wray, the current head of the FBI, does nothing. Send in the U.S. Marshalls. Shut it down and start over.
If the judge does get the documents, it won’t do any good as they are probably mostly redacted.
