Top Trump Official on His Way Out?

John Kelly, the President’s chief of staff, could be on thin ice after clashing with the first lady over promotions. The Washington Examiner reports:s

President Trump’s chief of staff John Kelly may soon be pushed out of the White House after clashing with first lady Melania Trump.

The top White House aide and the first lady have had disputes over staffing issues and travel requests, NBC News reported Tuesday.

“There have been instances where the East Wing staff were not treated as equals to the male-dominated decision makers in chief Kelly’s office,” one White House official told the news outlet. “Promotions were denied then finally granted after months of requests.”

Some of the arguments have escalated to the president. The first lady brought up the issues with her husband earlier this year after Kelly repeatedly denied her requests to promote some of her staffers.

The loss of Kelly would be a serious blow to the White House. During his time in office, Kelly has cracked down on White House leaks and pushed the President’s agenda forward. With some luck, this issue will be resolved peacefully so as not to jeopardize the President’s second half of his term.

Sorry I like the First Lady but giving promotions is a no no these people make way to much now and their retirement is way out of line, it is us Taxpayers that pay them and I don’t even have enough to be able to get to my sister in Kentucky because her husband past away so NO promotions No raises for anyone None , make congress senate part timers so we don’t have to give retirement or healthcare, they don’t work a full week and 2 hr. Lunch give me a break we out here don’t get that lucky if you get half hour, they don’t work 8hrs. and then take weeks to mos. off this is disgusting disgraceful behavior so part time with No Benefits

You have no idea what you’re talking about. That you have no money for travel could be due to not saving anything.

Whole heartedly agree that government servants are paid way beyond what they deserve. They live a lavish lifestyle off American taxpayers.
Congress members are paid way ro much and have to many extravagant benefits.

I can’t say that I disagree with you. However, Congressional salary, $175,000 , i think, is set beforehand and encompasses the job, no matter how hard they work, or how little. I do not know how the salaries of appointees are set, but they need to be high enough to get competent people to do what often turns out to be very difficult jobs.

There is no real way to compare government service at the high levels to the private sector. However, when you get down to teachers, sanitation workers, public transit workers, etc., these guys seem to be well overpaid and their compensation and benefits should be reeled in.

We the people don’t need petty squabbles distracting this great President from saving us from the communist/democrats. Far too often, First Ladies create tension and forget that they are only the wife of the President, not part of the cabinet. Nancy Regan and Laura Bush were democrats at heart and had far too much influence on their men. I don’t think Trump will let Melania go too far at being a pain in the az.

Staff Greatly Reduced from Michelle to Melania. Consider that.
Also ‘other issues’ at hand. Off topic here, but Bolton IS the
‘one’ that NEEDS To Go. Pronto.

Well, just do your DD ie the Iraq situation w/GWB.
> he(bolton) ‘circled the wagons’ at Mar-a-Lago
waiting for ‘invitation’ from Pres Elect DJT. Nixed,
UNTIL too many others left .President didn’t have much of
a choice. ‘b’ IS NOT a ‘Dove’. Capish. Aggravates Mr. President
re Syria. Just do some Due Diligence. You will then ‘know’.

This report cant be very accurate or up to date? John Kelly had already left the Whitehouse and not for the reasons put out? Both john Kelly and General Mattis were removed from their positions in order to conduct the Military Tribunals which are underway at present. Same with Jeff Sessions, he compiled the over 63,000 dossiers/Indictments against treason and pedophilia to the United States and then left in order to get a new AG who acts on the evidence ! President Trump is a master chess player.
