Republicans Score Huge Win In the Courts

Mitch McConnell pulled another major victory on the Democrats, securing the confirmation of 15 federal judges in exchange for ending the Senate session. The Daily Wire reports:

The Senate approved a package of President Donald Trump’s judicial nominees Thursday, notching another 15 confirmations just days after Justice Brett Kavanaugh was installed on the U.S. Supreme Court.

The confirmations came as half a dozen Democratic lawmakers, particularly those in red states, were pressed to return home to defend their Senate seats for the final stretch before the November midterm elections.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell seized on the opportunity and made Democrats an offer: let the Senate adjourn until after the election, provided Democrats don’t force the full 30 hours of debate allowed for each nominee.

Democratic leaders were left at an impasse: They could keep their caucus in the Capitol to oppose the nominees — effectively ceding the campaign trail to Republican challengers — or confirm Trump’s judges briskly and risk alienating their supporters.

This is a huge win for the rule of law, as these judges will interpret the constitution as it is written.

Well, I don’t trust the DemocRATS. Don’t trust the RINOs either. If these Judges were all that good, like Kavanaugh, they would be screaming their heads off. We need Judges who stand for America, Judges who stand for freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of press (no censorship of Trump), private ownership of property; rights of the individual – not the collective as the Communists and Democrats like to push. We need Judges who enforce the traditional laws on our books, not one who make up new laws. We have bad judges and leaders in Detroit, and that is why it is completely lawless, giving writes to drug addicts, gang-bangers, illegal immigrants, while persecuting the law abiding residents.

Hmmm…115 would be better but in view of the typical congressional progress, we’ll take it and fight for the others.

Anyone who thinks we can make it threw the midterms unscathed is only kidding themselves. If we can just maintain control of the House, and gain a seat or two in the senate we’ll be alright. If the Democrats take control of the House, they will immediately start impeachment proceedings. It could out to be a very rough ride for all Republican next year.

Isn’t it about time?? The United States was FOUNDED as a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC and the FACT that we have allowed judges to INTERPRET “OUR” Constitution according to THEIR ‘Judicial’ (political) opinion is shameful. If ‘they’ don’t agree with the ORIGINAL document, the OBVIOUS solution is amendment!! We have done it 27 times and it is the RECOGNIZED solution for changing norms. People who would ‘clamor’ for the judicial branch taking the place of the legislative branch should be ashamed of themselves. Our government style may not be the best BUT it certainly is the best discovered to date — just LOOK around you :^)
