House Republicans will be voting on laws to curb sanctuary cities. Breitbart reports:
The U.S. House of Representatives will vote next week on a resolution offered by House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy that admonishes U.S. cities for allowing illegal aliens to vote in local elections, as has been confirmed to Breitbart News exclusively.
The measure, which Democrats are expected to oppose, in two pages states that it is the position of the House of Representatives that allowing illegal aliens the right to vote disenfranchises American citizens.

“Recognizing that allowing illegal immigrants the right to vote devalues the franchise and diminishes the voting power of United States citizens. Whereas voting is fundamental to a functioning democracy; Whereas the Constitution prohibits discrimination in voting based on race, sex, poll taxes, and age; Whereas it is of paramount importance that the United States maintains the legitimacy of its elections and protects them from interference, including interference from foreign threats and illegal voting; Whereas the Constitution allows States and localities to grant non-citizens the right to vote in non-Federal elections; Whereas the city of San Francisco, California, is allowing non-citizens, including illegal immigrants, to register to vote in school board elections; and Whereas Federal law prohibits non-citizens from voting in elections for Federal office: Now, therefore, be it 1 Resolved, That the House of Representatives recognizes that allowing illegal immigrants the right to vote de3 values the franchise and diminishes the voting power of 4 United States citizens.”
This is an important step to secure elections in the face of foreign influence.

I think it’s stupid to allow them to vote in local elections. That’s like letting someone to just move into your house and tell you how your home is going to be run.

The politicians in California (Democrats) voted to register ANYONE who was applying for a driver’s license. ANYONE. That includes all illegals. Is it any wonder we have so much graft? And the voter registration files are not being made public. The U.S. House has this on their To Do list but it isn’t coming soon enough to stop non-citizens from voting. Hurry, don’t delay, federal auditors.

I am just too old I guess and have outlived my usefulness. Why would anyone support any legislation that would allow noncitizens to vote. Who in their right mind would want criminals deciding what their school districts teach? What is the point of being a legal citizen when noncitizen get the same privileges as you.? Either I am crazy or the people supporting this stuff is. It did not help that our previous President and First Lady did not know if they were Americans or not. Congress should cut off _all_ federal funding and terminate contracts to any entity with an address within a sanctuary city, county, or state . . . no funding at all, except earned retirement, Social Security, and Medicare/Medicaid. This includes no individual welfare or federal payments of any kind, no university contracts and no federally guaranteed student loans. No money to police/fire departments, for infrastructure, nothing. Make it hurt.

I lived at this time and saw this come to pass, and now the result of the same. 1962, they took PRAYER out of school(s) 1963 they (the S.Court-which has NO power to do so, but…) took Bible (KJV Bible) Study, out of schools, and in 1970, they said the 10 Commandments were no longer constitutional (even if they were 200 plus years before) These laws/rulings were Engle v. Vitale/Abingdon v. Schempp/Stone v. Graham/Roe v. Graham and these rulings, ruled by a court that has NO POWER, at all, except to say if there is any constitutionality, said we can’t have these four, and usurped POWER not afforded to them. JFK could have stopped this: BUT, he did NOTHING! NOW this country has all the Illegals and the perverts and the Muslims etc etc NO FREEKING WONDER! GOD is not mocked! AND “THAT”SCARES ME!!
These same politicians get all hyper and outraged at the idea that Russia may have attempted to influence our elections. But turn around and want to allow foreign nationals to directly affect our elections by permitting them to vote. These foreign nationals are citizens of other countries. This gives their countries a direct influence on our elections. These politicians are hypocrites of the first order.
The Federal Government should deny ALL votes from locations letting immigrants be able to vote before they become full pledge Americans and so they would have absolutely NO say as to who they want in the Federal Government.
What took them so long, actually, all financial aid and support should cease for any state authorizing it’s state to be a sanctuary state. Newly elected Governor Bill Murphy of NJ campaigned on the fact if elected he would make New Jersey a sanctuary state, so those New Jersey voters who voted him in knew what he was up to. He’s already allocated 2.1 million taxpayer dollars to defend any illegal in New Jersey from being prosecuted and or deported. The U.S. Government should immediately cease further governmental support or aid of this state or any other state that takes this stand.
Some day I hope that the American People will wake up and see what the Democrats are doing to our country. If this is aloud to continue our Republic is doomed.
