President Trump’s New Trade Deal
The Trump’s Administration has announced that it will be renegotiating a trade deal with Canada. The Washington Examiner reports:
President Trump said Wednesday that talks between the U.S. and Canada appear to be on a path to a final deal by Friday, the deadline set by the Trump administration.
“We gave ’til Friday, and I think we’re probably on track,” he told reporters at the White House. “We’ll see what happens.”
AdvertisementWhen asked if he’s optimistic about a final deal, Trump said, “I think so.”
“I think Canada very much wants to make the deal, and I think it’s going to be obviously very good for Canada if they do, and I think it’s probably not going to be good at all if they don’t,” he said.
This will finally overhaul NAFTA into a more efficient agreement to address the modern economy.

Trump was talking about NAFTA and the renegotiation of their deal and I think it might be good IF both sides agree with the deal and I like the FACT that trump is renaming NAFTA to just a trade deal between countries.

Canada is headed by an Obama wannabe who is not a pimple compared to his daddy. He has appointed as Canadian trade negotiator a woman similar to himself. He wants to maintain almost 300% tariffs on milk, cheese, yogurt, and everything else he can. U.S. negotiators have been working on this for a year. Trump wants fair trade with no tariffs but is willing to put large tariffs on autos, trucks, and manufactured items. That really scares Canada because that will bring an end to those industries there. They will resume negotiations on Wednesday. MAGA!

What I have never understood is that China, a Coomy govt, pays it’s people pennies on the dollar and this nation has Unions which pay 20-35 etc dollars per hour and yet HOW can any country compete w/that! Now, IF the workers were paid comparitively, then there would be something to work with! The FACT that other nation pay their people like China does NOT help and that type of business will never work! There has to be some “EQUITY” somewhere when dealing w/this matter! Other nations can NOT seel their Junk here and expect to put this nation out of business just because they pay so much less and have a lesser standard of living!
