GOP Lawmaker’s Questions About Feinstein’s Chinese Spy

US Senate

A Chinese spy was discovered working for Senator Feinstein, but GOP lawmakers aren’t ready to looks away. The Washington Examiner reports:

A Republican lawmaker sent a letter Tuesday to FBI Director Chris Wray pressing for answers on whether national security was jeopardized by a staff member at a state office for Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., who was found to have been a Chinese spy.

“While we know that the FBI approached Senator Feinstein five years ago to inform her of this threat, right now there are more questions than answers regarding this case,” Rep. Jim Banks, R-Ind., wrote to Wray. “The American people have a right to know whether classified American intelligence has been compromised.”

Banks requested Wray provide him with the name of the staffer hired, the length of time the staffer was under surveillance, what type of information the Chinese Ministry of State Security received, and whether other former Feinstein employees were also under surveillance.

Recent reporting has said Chinese intelligence officials recruited a staff member at Feinstein’s San Francisco office to provide them with details on local politics. Feinstein said she was notified five years ago about the FBI’s concerns and subsequently removed the staffer.

This scandal has opened the door to a flood of questions as to how much damage this spy has done to the security of America.

What will become of the finding? Special counsel assigned to investigate maybe. Mueller will get right on this case right after he finds the tooth fairy he’s chasing now.

Its a step in the right direction. Feinstein is a POS and needs to be investigated for this. She doesn’t get to have a Chinese spy working for her for 20 yrs and when she “finds out” she just fires him. No, she needs to be investigated. What kind of info was he privy to? What information did she share with him, etc? Feinstein also needs to be investigated about Ford’s letter that she held onto for 2 months before releasing it at the last minute to screw up Kavanaugh’s investigation. She is a slime ball and probably needs to spend some time in prison, after she is impeached from the senate

This is disgraceful! Here we go again with double standards. Mueller cannot handle his present job; should not be given this. He is good at covering up for the Dems. President Trump needs to look at this.

So easily deceived and look at all the govt.titles with which she handles America’s secrets. Even a new clerk just out of high school who applies for a clerical spot , has to undergo clearances. Why wasn’t this one vetted, Feinstein? I think back through all the years she has been in her “eternity” post and I cringe to consider all the possibilities this agent had….just like others with hare brained Hillary . The Democrats, including Obama couldn’t have cared less about exposing America to danger. Their carelessness has caused LIVES to be LOST. And they’re still walking the street and giving lectures for huge amounts of sheep’s money. Why haven’;t they been prosecuted. Too many politicians without integrity don’t want to risk their fat LIFETIME paychecks?

Diane Feinstein has long been one of the more corrupt member of Congress. That she is donating US secrets to the Chinese is no surprise. How does California find these worthless anti-American fools to send to Congress?
