Trump’s Message to the NFL Players

President Trump has renewed his commitment to honor the national anthem. Fox News reports:

President Trump on Friday mocked NFL players who were “at it again,” kneeling during the national anthem, and encouraged them to “Be happy, be cool!” since they make a “fortune doing what they love.”

Trump once again warned players to “Stand proudly” for the national anthem, or “be suspended Without Pay!”

“The NFL players are at it again –taking a knee when they should be standing proudly for the National Anthem. Numerous players, from different teams, wanted to show their ‘outrage’ at something that most of them are unable to define,” Trump tweeted.

“They make a fortune doing what they love…Be happy, be cool! A football game, that fans are paying soooo much money to watch and enjoy, is no place to protest. Most of the money goes to the players anyway. Find another way to protest. Stand proudly for your National Anthem or be Suspended Without Pay!”
Whether the NFL will heed his advice remains to be seen.

The network won’t do this but if the players were made to pay air time for their “protest” during the games they might look at it a lot different.

Thank God that Pres. Trump calls these overpaid orangutans out for the sissy boys they really are! And if they kill the sport that pays them so/too much $$, then so be it!! A real case of “the goose that laid the golden egg!!”

Millions have pledged our lives to our country, Constitution and this flag so people today can debate with the freedoms we were, and still are willing to die for. Watch this clip https://www.facebook.com/raiderfit/videos/1699621613390306/
. When the protestor disparages what we pledge and honor as a symbol of our devoted lives, I really do not care what their cause or protest is about.

Eugene Waldenmaier, unfortunately the kneeling players don’t know what they are kneeling about!?! Their thought processes are unfathomable and kneeling for the national anthem is NOT the way to protest. What their kneeling says is that they hate the country that is providing them such a fabulous job(income). What it tells me is that they don’t need that job. If they don’t appreciate what this country has done for them, they don’t need it. They should leave.–

I recommend that every NFL coach and general manager take these “over paid and under worked prima donnas” to the cemeteries of American heroes all over western Europe to see the tens of thousands of Americas finest that gave the ultimate sacrifice of the very lives to free Europe from tyranny. Dozens of cemeteries maintained and respected by the people of the nearby cities and villages that were liberated during the World Wars by Americans, NOT PHONY NFL ASSHOLES WHO DON’T EVEN KNOW WHAT THEY ARE PROTESTING ABOUT.

The NFL and it’s players have been spoiled for far too long anyway. The amount of money that these spoiled, pampered children make is obscene, and completely disproportionate for the childish games they play at the expense of our military, and the fans that watch them. I will never watch pro ball again, and that includes patronizing the sponsors, and the news outlets that cover NFL games, and their anti American hypocrisy. I have had it with these glorified, disrespectful athletes.

AND Especially stop allowing the NFL to bully taxpayers into paying for enormously expensive stadiums which are “play pens” for these jackasses to “PLAY” in. Just what do people get from watching these clowns anyway? Fat bellies and thinner wallets is all I see. The fans are to blame for letting this go this far. Boycott the NFL PERIOD.

I Still can not believe that this Select Club of Wealthy Men, will NOT pay respect to the Country, Flag & Anthem that enabled them to become members of this Select Club.
But I do believe that they will respect the loss of their Wealth & Status, if the Fans refuse to
be a part of their Racket & stay away from their games.
For me, it’s very simple, NFL Thugs do NOT deserve Fan Loyalty, when they spit on the Fans’ Flag, Anthem & Country & Disrespect the Fans’ President.

I did not watch any NFL games last year and I guess I wont be watching any this year as well. I spent 23 years fighting for their right to protest, but I don’t have to like it. They are a disgrace to themselves and to their country.

Trump has said what he thinks and he is right, but it is a waste of time other then his enjoying making them look like fools. The NFL has a problem, and the NFL is losing, the players will lose at some point when the people quit supporting their antics. What is really stupid is their players union contract is coming up, and they will probably be stupid enough to get a lock out, theeeeeen the ship will hit the fan. Yes the fans will have their revenge.

Too late for lectures. The lines have been drawn. The NFL is on one side looking at the ground and many fans are on the other side — looking the other way. Pro football just isn’t important enough to distress anyone either way. Kinda’ like an amiable divorce. To each, they’re irrelevant.

Sports teams are the only employees that I can name, who think they can wear uniform of their team, in public meetings, where they are paid to perform, can take a knee, or raise fist to show their disdain, and disrespect for what ever cause they profess. Do that in police, firemen, military uniform, and see what happens. They have absolute right to demonstrate , but do it on their own time, not in uniform, and do not emply that your employer approves or agrees with what you are doing. I served 26 years in military, and military will be court martialed if they even speak disrespectfully of the officers or leaders appointed over them. And I as Non-commissioned Officer (NCO) counseled my subordinates on what was allowed, and what was not, under UCMJ. I also rated my subordinates at regular intervals, and their actions, speech, performance of duty was all addressed. Just as my Superiors did in my case. Too many young men and women have come back from combat or assignment areas, in caskets, draped under the U. S. Flag from combat, or accidents. I take exception to the flag being disrespected for any reason. I did not watch any games since “KNEELING BECAME THE ACTION” and will not watch, attend, or buy any such sports equipment to give as gifts, or for myself as long as this continues.

Why must they protest during our National Anthem. They are not smart enough to protest when it does not offend real Americans. It shows me that they have no respect for the greatest country on earth and no appreciation for what this great country has given them. They are not helping anything get better for anyone, they are just being selfish and ignorant like Obama.

They just “gotta be special”. Fine. When you’re broken neck, back or leg gets you out of the Big Leagues, and you’re broke ass comes begging and crying cause you ain’t “special” any more, look back at this dumb ass behavior and hang your head. Better, hang your SELF. It’ll be the BEST thing you could have done. Whining babies in gorilla suits. Get your pitiful ass to Canada. Trudeau’ll LOVE to have you. G’BYE, loser.

When the NFL went on strike the first time, I began losing interest, and started watching college ball again, with particular interest in my Alma Mater. I still watched a couple of teams, NFL, from time to time. The following years found me watching more college and less pro, when more and more pro players received slaps on the wrist for bad decisions and bad behavior, or when they were arrested for criminal behavior.
Now this. The first time they knelt I quit watching pro ball and have not looked back.
I served in the Army 1969 – 1971. As far as I’m concerned, those that kneel might as well spit on Old Glory. If they are so unhappy here, try Russia, or the Middle East. See how far that gets them.

Time to remove the Anti-Trust exemption the NFL enjoys. Past time.in fact. Remove all tax abatement too. Let them pay THEIR fair share like the legitimate businesses and citizens on the country do. ,,,, And leave it that way, kneeling players or not.

When do the new football leagues start? They are sure to take a chunk out of the NFL loser’s asses.

Ruth Anne Hicks and Courtenay Smith, because of the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, you have the right to freely express you opinion. All that I ask is that you express your opinions based on facts. Your President is only doing his job of enforcing existing law. DACA is not existing LAW. The LAW is, that he is to use his authority to protect LEGAL citizens from all enemies both foreign and domestic. Entering a country illegally is a crime in any country, punishable by imprisonment or even death in some. America has always welcomed LEGAL immigrants. Your President has done more to improve the lot of minority races than any president in my lifetime. Please honor and respect the Flag and the men and women who have put their lives on the line so that you can freely make unsupported statements.

African America men today in the sports arena need a refresher course in American history as to honoring their National Anthem and what it represents.
Lest they forget it cost the lives of 300,000 men in the Civil War to free their ancestors. If one must bow the knee then do it and say so for the glory of God for the Lord has done more for the United States than for any other country upon which the sun shines.
African American men should be thankful that their generations may continue in this great land. Slavery is a thing of the past and freedom is a thing of today and of the future if we all work together in union and love for all who live in this great land called America.

I have a wonderful idea? These NFL players and the way they are so Anti-American Flag. Our Government should do just like Israel does with there Young Adults that are graduating from High School put them all in the Military with either Army, Navy, or Marins. That will make them into real American men and women. Then we will have a real patriotic Americans again.

Maybe they’re getting away with the disrespect NOW. But hopefully it won’t continue. My son in law and I have attended many of the games in the past. But we are not supporting the sport NOW. IN fact none of our households are even watching the games on T V. and some of our wives have written to sponsors telling them what they can do with their products. WE are finished with the games until this DISGRACE is brought under control.

I’d like to say, that IF these men do take the knee, then while they are down there, maybe they ought to fold their hands and PRAY, I mean PRAY for the President and our congrss and our nation and all that is going on…..PRAY that people will get right and come TO JESUS CHRIST! Otherwise, you big bunch of overpaid babies, go cry somewhere else, maybe in your closet! i am tired of grown men acting like children! GROW the H E Double Hockey Sticks up!!
