6 Months Later: Trump Tax Cuts Deliver
A BOOMING ECONOMY: Just 6 months after President Donald J. Trump signed the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act into law, the American economy is booming and confidence is soaring.
- President Trump’s tax cuts have revitalized the American economy, with 54 percent of Americans now rating the economy as good or excellent, the highest ever recorded by CNBC.
- Businesses are bringing money held overseas back to the United States.
- In the first quarter of 2018, more than $300 billion was repatriated back to the United States, setting a new record high, according to the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA).
- Optimism among employers has reached historic highs in the 6 months since the tax cuts.
- Manufacturer optimism has reached its highest level in the 20-year history of the National Association of Manufacturers survey.
- Small business optimism stands at its second-highest level on record since the National Federation of Independent Business began its survey 45 years ago.

This is historic and it is working. No other president has done something like this for the people, and the democrats disapprove because they only raise taxes.
Democrats have always raised taxes! That’s what they do…nothing else! They have always claimed that they were for the working man and woman! The lie has stuck in their throat! Every economic downturn has happened during a Democrat Administration or shortly thereafter! Looking back through history, it has always been that way since 1894 when Grover Cleveland gave America its first permanent tax! Since that time the Democrats gave us taxes on everything, including “the death tax”, marriage tax, alcohol tax, cigarette tax, Road tax, excise tax, transportation tax, just to mention a few! The citizens of the USA now pay more taxes than any other Republic in the world! Taxes are and always been the principle cause of inflation, declining wages and economic disaster for the citizens of our country! They closed all of the steel mills that once lined the Great Lakes a d now it is called the “Rust Belt”! Democrats under Clinton sent 8 million of our best jobs to Mexico and 43 million of the very best paying and best benefitted jobs to China, Indonesia, India and other off-shore countries! The cost to the federal treasury each year has been 1.6 trillion dollars in commerce tax each year and the loss to state and local venues has been a trillion dollars a year! That’s why local governments have been “cash strapped” and failing! The drinking water Calamity in Flint Michigan is one prime example! The Democrats caused the closing of the Beneral Motors plants there and the complete disappearance of the tax base and total loss of income to 98% of its citizens! Then the Femocrates then blamed the Republicans, who had noting to do with this “major catastrophe”, they did fool the workers who lost their jobs, income and future and still vote for the Democrats who continually lie to them! The Obama Administration blamed and levied fines on the city of Flint for not doing they’re job providing clean water to its citizens, when it was the Democrats who caused the problem in the first place, by removing 5 million jobs and sending them to China, bankrupting the city! If you’ve ever heard a lie! You know it was told by a Democrat! A great example is the hypocracy of the Democrats that said tax cuts would destroy the country!
Yes Carl this has been repeated 2 other times in recent history of our country. First by John F. Kennedy to increased prosperity in the 1960’s. Remember the US send men to the moon?
Then Ronald Reagan had amazing success in the 1980’s all the while being hog tied and attacked by a Democratic Congress controlling both the House and the Senate. Yet, his economic policies lead to the longest run of growth in the history of our country. Even Clinton was forced into these same policies when the Conservatives took control of the House and balanced the US Budget!
The first year after Reagan cut taxes the revenue increased even though the rates were lower. It was because the GDP went way up. I believe that is happening again. If we really want to see a boom we will cut income tax to zero and replace it with a combination of sales tax and tariffs. People who receive their entire pay will spend big time and it won’t e to H&R Block.
The Demon-Craps couldn’t do what President Trump has done and they know it. They are as dumb as door knobs when it comes to the economy or law and order.
PRAISE THE LORD FOR THE VICTORY AND GIVING US PRESIDENT TRUMP OUR DAVID TO FIGHT FOR US AND TO GET OUR COUNTRY BACK. AMEN AND AMEN
I will be honest, I only voted for president Trump because the other option was Hilary Clinton, whom I think is a crook, liar, a person who does not care about we the people. Now I am so glad that President Trump is who I voted for, and will again. He has done a great job, and is trying to make America great again, in spite of what I call the Deep State, whom I believe needs to be ousted completely out of the government process. All those who have worked for themselves, and have committed treason against our government should be prosecuted!
The Dems and the liberals ( same thing) can say whatever they want to, we know President Trump rocks and is actually working FOR the American people, not against us like the Liberal Democrats. Trump 2020!!!!!!!!!!

It’s about time someone did something right for the people. Political Correctness has been killing us. The non aforadable care act would have been over turned if the rhinos had gotten out of the way. Ted Cruz, John McCain Lisa Susan Collins and Lisa Murrowski. These 4 screwed us over. They are not truly for the people they are Dems in Republicans skin. Thank God for President Trump. We are much better off than we have been since at least Ronald Regan was in office. Trump is blunt unfiltered and harsh. But he at least speaks the truth. I do believe he had going the swamp very hard to drain. Perhaps that should be his slogan for 2020 drain and clean the swamp for good. I appluade what he has done. The liberals can not defeat him everyone knows the media are the most biased group of liberals and the progressive ( I call them regressive) are trying to destroy this county. If we don’t turn back to God we are doncc. The Bible says woe to the people nation who gives evil for good and good for evil.
When we went through the candidate selection process before the 2016 election, at first I was “ugh, Trump”. I learned a lot about all the candidates, both good and bad. Originally, I wanted Rick Perry, but circumstances made that impossible. When I ultimately decided on Trump , it just felt right! He was brash, outspoken, sometimes flippant, sometimes funny but always focused. Some of my friends were surprised at my choice, but I can truthfully say, I have not regretted my choice! I would make the same choice today. He is just what America needs.
Trump made promises that he knew he could keep. The question is why other occupants of the office could not or did not. deliver on popular policies.
Jump on the train or get out of the way! PRESIDENT Trump is going to be the greatest PRESIDENT of all time. The Democrats are not for the American people but for themselves and anyone that puts money in their pockets. God bless the PRESIDENT and his family.
I would really like someone to take a look at my s.s. benefits, I feel I’m getting scrued around! Being, my s.s.a. started when Obama entered office! Everyone I know tells me im not getting my full benefit.
President Trump will continue to win, because God has called and appointed him to be President at this time. He will make America great again! He will get 8 years!
