President Trump Withdraws From UN ‘Human Rights ‘Farce

ENDING THE HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL FARCE: President Donald J. Trump and his Administration have taken a stand for human rights and withdrawn from the United Nations’ Human Rights Council (HRC).

  • The Trump Administration has announced the United States’ withdrawal, effective immediately.
  • The President’s decision comes following a year of tireless commitment to reform at the United Nations.
  • The Administration believes that withdrawal from the HRC will cast a spotlight on the urgent need for structural reform.

FAILING TO FULFILL ITS PURPOSE: The HRC has failed to live up to its purpose, serving as a shield for human rights violators and a megaphone for unfair bias against Israel.

  • Countries with poor human rights records are routinely elected to the HRC, and use it to shield themselves from criticism and impede efforts to address their terrible records.
    • The HRC includes elected members such as Venezuela, Cuba, Burundi, China, and the Democratic Republic of Congo—countries that have been called out for their continual human rights violations and abuses.
  • The Trump Administration has been clear about the Council’s persistent, unfair bias against Israel.
    • The HRC has passed more resolutions condemning Israel than it has condemning Syria, Iran, and North Korea combined.

A CALL FOR REFORM: The Trump Administration continues to call on the HRC and the broader United Nations for reform.

  • During his landmark speech before the United Nations General Assembly in September, the President called for reform of both the HRC and the United Nations generally.
  • The Trump Administration will continue its pursuit of HRC reform in New York and Geneva.
    • The United States would like nothing more than to see the HRC become the defender of human rights it was intended to be.
    • The Administration is willing to work with all partners to make reform a reality.
  • Over the past year, this Administration has taken several steps to advance the cause of reform at the United Nations:
    • During last year’s General Assembly, the United States co-hosted a reform event with British and Dutch Foreign Ministers attended by more than 40 countries;
    • American senior diplomats have held well over 100 consultations with delegations in New York and Geneva;
    • The Trump Administration circulated a draft reform resolution at the United Nations; and
    • Even simple efficiency proposals aimed at dealing with the Council’s budget crisis have failed to win sufficient support.
  • If meaningful reforms are undertaken that address our longstanding concerns with the HRC, the United States would welcome the opportunity to re-engage.

Do they pay us for the building they use? Do they even pay us any taxes? They come and treat us like crap with their immunity so they get away with murder. So what would we really lose throwing them out?

Good for you President Trump. Thank you. The United States needs to withdraw any and all support, and financial assistance of any kind from the United Nations agenda, that is nothing more than a Muslim support group. The United Sates never should have gotten involved with the United Nations, we are a Christian- Judaeo country, based on our God given freedoms, and our own unique constitution, based on our Christian beliefs. The United nations should be disbanded from ever practicing or participating their biased Jew And Christian hating agenda from our American soil. Including shutting down, and removing those individuals from the New York City U.N. building. We don’t need, or want anything to do with the United Nations, and they (United Nations) have no rights, or authority, to dictate what the American people should, or should not be doing. They’re biased agenda runs contrarily against, and opposite to everything, Americans hold dear, from our constitution, to our God given, liberty loving Christian country.

It is my firm belief that the UN offers nothing to the USA and is seldom in agreement with the USA. I believe that the USA should pay no more than its fair share to the operation of the U.N. and if the governing body of the U.S. disagrees they should move their headquarters to Europe, either France or Sweden.

Thank you very much, Mr. President Trump. We need to withdraw all our resources and support from the biased Christian- Judaeo hating United Nations. Next we need to evict, and close down the United Nation building, in New York City. Keep up the good fight for our Christian conservative beliefs, and all God fearing, proud Americans. MAGA

President Trump was a star at the UN. I was so proud when he skipped the Human rights and Climate meetings. His speech on Religious Freedom was something NO other President has ever done. Think of the Christians be killed and jailed because the believe in the Bible. Once again his Victory at the UN was covered up by BS from the Media. They can not give him credit for any of his accomplishments. They are afraid a Democrat might hear it. MAGA!

THANK YOU PRESIDENT TRUMP. Finally we have a real leader in the White House. We patriotic citizens support you and your fearless good common sense decision making. Any other WASHINGTON POLITICIANS would never have done this. This is one of the many reasons WE THE PEOPLE elected you to lead us. You see an issue, discuss it with your cabinet, take all advice and then make your own decision AND ACT ON IT. This is one reason the elites are so terrified of you and hate you. The Washington ELITES see an issue then appoint a committee to study it for a year. Then they take a year to write a report. By the time their report is ready the issue has been forgotten about. The UN has been an anti American, Gobalist, one World Government leaning organization for over 20 years. They take our money then vote against the USA’s interest.

In its earliest days, the UN was a resource for developing nations. By now, those that would benefit (Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia) have done so. and those that would not have become a cheering squad for anti-US sentiment. The time has now come for a total reversal of this sick game. US out of UN: UN out of US. Under the guise of remodelling the now-outdated UN building in New York, Trump should start by ripping out all the plumbing and electric, and continue by establishing a brand-new UN headquarters in Angola, Africa.
