President Trump Rebukes Democrat Support Of Open Borders

 

President Trump called out Democrat “extremists” for their support of “open borders” in a recent tweet. In the video at a cabinet meeting, the president called for an end to loopholes that cause issues like the recent “family separation” story, which the president signed an executive order to address.

Democrats are losing on the issue. In a recent poll conducted by YouGov, only 19 percent favored “releasing the families and having them report back for an immigration hearing at a later date”. The president is closing loopholes, via executive order and legislative efforts, because most Americans favor policies to stop the flow of illegal immigrants. It has been a key issue for the president, but the laws as written prove difficult to enforce without problems like the “family separation” issue.

Democrats are largely complaining about the status quo, but aren’t working with President Trump to solve the problem. Instead, they are rejecting moves to secure the southern border, and playing politics as the enforcement of flawed laws keeps being reported as the president’s policy. That is why the president is calling them out, because the games must end.
